It was awesome.
It is very good as it provides strong privacy features It supports an unlimited number of computers per count. Provide 21 day free trial.
Its free version is not available. It does not provide a mobile app for its users.

Another thing with this software that makes it so valuable is to simply set it up one time, it it just keeps working. It's reliable. There has been the odd time where I've needed to access the backup for one file, as well as a complete restore. It's never let me down. Will the initial price seemed a bit high to me, I quickly realized that the ability to add multiple computers made it very worthwhile. In two words: Reliable, solid. I'd recommend SpiderOak.
The excellent privacy features help make this a premier backup service for businesses. Also that my account allows an unlimited number of computers also provides the benefit of ensuring all data is backed up, everywhere. I can even go back to an earlier version of a specific file, in case there's an issue with a recent file version. Another particular "win" with this software, is that I'm able to adjust folder sync options, to better match my business needs. The application works well, is well designed, and in my opinion, very intuitive.
Some things I'd like to see added, is bringing back the mobile app - I appreciate most might not get as much use out of it, but would be nice to see. Regardless this software backups up all files, with privacy, and does it well!

For a couple of years it was a satisfying cloud backup solution. And the support was always very friendly and helpful. But when I ran into difficult problems with the integrity of my backups when I added a new device, it was just too time-consuming.
The value for money aspect was the best for SpiderOak One a couple of years ago: I was able to secure a promo offer for unlimited cloud spacefor just 149 USD/yr. Unbeatable back then. And of course the zero knowledge technology ...
The UI is outdated and the whole managing of the backup is extremely cumbersome.

We know our files and directories that we don't want to lose are safely backed up and retrievable at any time on any device if needed. It is especially helpful to have this cloud based with all the ransom ware out there.
It is very easy to navigate and setup only specific directories, files and folders on any device you want to have backed up to the cloud safely and without any further user action.
You have to install on every device you want to backup and it takes quite awhile on the initial software install since it scans everything you currently have backing up on all other devices before the installation is complete.

I prefer to use spideroak groups because of its robust privacy and security features. I can store my work online, and share with my collaborators, without being concerned about security issues.
I have no negative feedback about spideroak groups.
