What is WinMacs?
WinMACS is a software solution for law firms of all sizes. It can be used to optimize everyday tasks, such as creating texts, managing clients, researching files, and planning appointments. The digital client file is one of its core functions.
The client file is primarily used to automate recurring tasks. All parties involved in a brief are centrally recorded, and the file stores the addresses of clients and German courts that are involved. Whenever a new file or address is created, a conflict-of-interest check is automatically carried out. All data is secured against unauthorized access. There are various reminder functions to simplify organizational processes. For example, users can be notified of any upcoming appointments or unfinished tasks, and there is also an option to include a deadline control slip.
These features reduce the need for internal queries. Users can also utilize an integrated chat function as needed. In addition to organizational tasks, WinMACS supports law firms with tools to manage finances. Amongst several other features, the software also includes integrated RVG fee catalogs, booking forms, and overviews of client-related account balances.
