Integration with Salesforce Cloud and Copper (formelly ProsperWorks) works very very well. Manage lists and forms is a little bit difficult task to me.
Free solution to mailmarketing for small companies, and great pay solution to overall companies. Able to integrate with CRMs solution is maybe a great point.
I started using MailChimp almost 6 or 7 years ago and really I love the simple way to manage lists of contacts, and to dispatch personalizing e-mails. But on the way this software turn very complex. I know that's marketing professionals are able to handle it but a small entrepreneur may be guess to much.

I love Mailchimp and personally wish I could switch back to it. Because we rely heavily on Salesforce CRM, my company switched to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, but Mailchimp is a good option for those who can really benefit off of the CRM features they've added
Mailchimp is such a bargain! So many of the other CRM and email automation tools out there can break the bank, but Mailchimp is pretty reasonable considering how many features the platform supports
As they've grown and expanded the capabilities of the tool, the user interface has become increasingly complicated. As an avid software user, it wasn't a big adjustment for me, but I could see beginners struggling with the intricacy of the platform

Mass emails from Salesforce!
I like that it gave me the ability to send mass emails directly from contacts and groups in Salesforce.
This software was not user friendly. It took a lot of playing around to figure out how to nail it. It coul be laid out much nice to help guide the user.

I use this to email subscribers to my newsletter and send announcements.
I really appreciate that MailChimp provides an absolutely free version that you can use for up to one thousand subscribers.
It's not as easy to use as I would like it to be, but it's much much easier than Salesforce (I was a Salesforce admin)

I like the ease of use in general, especially in setting up a new email template and understanding the reports.
I wish it better integrated with our CRM, Salesforce. If we add in a new contact in Salesforce, it automatically updates the list in Mailchimp.

It is easy to organize and segment lists into different groups. This really helps us easily figure out our email marketing strategy.
We have really struggled to connect salesforce to our MC account. When we contact their support, they just tell us to reach out to salesforce, who can't help.

Easy for everyone in the company to build an email without knowledge of HTML. Basic segmentation, automation that can be programmed for basic targeted emails and nurture.
For companies with Salesforce as a CRM. The integration with salesforce is really clunky and unstable. Choices of templates are limited. You'll eventually have to build your own HTML template.

I really like how it integrates with Salesforce. I am able to create lists or campaigns in MailChimp and have them sent over to Salesforce to do further analysis and vice versa
There are a lot of steps to get the Salesforce integration to work and without documentation you can easily miss a step or two

Overall MailChimp is an easy to use and powerful marketing tool. It's certainly worth a look and a test drive at very least, especially if your company is budget conscious. If you are looking for a more complex and robust system, you may want to keep looking, but at least give MailChimp a test drive, you may be surprised at all it can do for you.
MailChimp is fairly easy to setup and use from the start. It integrates well with Salesforce and the reporting ability on both the MailChimp side and Salesforce side is done quite well. Lists are easy to setup and use and it can deduplicate contacts within an individual list. It also offers bounce reports and those bounces, when MC is integrated with Salesforce, report directly back to Salesforce in the standard out of the box bounce alert.
MailChimp is designed for the average user and not so much for a high-end marketing team. It's simple easy to use style can at times be overly simplistic and not allow for the customizations that can be needed at times. One thing that I have come across, and MailChimp is not the only one to do this, is that reporting is done at the list level and not so much at the Group level. To keep costs down, the recommendation is to create a mast list and groups within the master list. Campaigns can be sent to groups so they are more targeted, but when reporting is done at the list level and not group level, you lose insight into where you are hitting and missing your target audience. Additionally, contact deduplication can only be done within a list and not across lists.

Mailchimp is an excellent service - no doubt about it. I like the templates and all the automation features as well as landing pages and easy form builds for websites, Facebook, etc. It's got a lot of good features and provides real value for the money.
the way their lists work is so unlike Constant Contact, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud that it is a difficult and can be an expensive transition if you don't know what you are doing. Also, they would do well to make it easier for those switching from another service to theirs to understand the differences and walk them through those.

The free service is perfect for startups and small businesses, but as you grow, consider upgrading to the higher tiers - you won't look back.
Marketing Automation, drag and drop templates, Salesforce Templates, Friendly with Wordpress Plugins
In my opinion, the autoresponder functionality is slightly worse than GetResponse, but it certainly isn't a deal breaker.

It helped my company easily send email campaigns to our users. It saved a lot of time in creating an html template, and I even use the export feature to create html mailers to send on different platforms.
It's really easy to set up an email campaign, customize or create a template. Data like social media users, rating leads and integration with Facebook make it really worthwile.
The biggest problem I have is the Salesforce integration. It's really lacking in a lot of features, but that also might be because Salesforce push their own email product. Anyways, it's really basic and lacks a lot of much needed features

We really enjoy the ease of use for Mailchimp and the ability it gives nonprofit organizations to communicate with donors for free.
It would be amazing if there was a Salesforce integration for free or at a low cost.

Overall it's very useful. It could use some fixes, but is definitely worth it.
Makes email campaign marketing a breeze and is compatible with other software like Salesforce/pardot.
Has a few hiccups. There have been a few instances where some information has been mixed up and this has created large issues.

I used Mailchimp to send out a regular newsletter to our salesforce contacts. It worked well enough.
It was simple to understand, intuitive functions and was already integrated with salesforce. Got the job done for the simple mailing campaigns I needed to run.
It provided the basic activities we needed but there arent a lot of bells and whistles. The campaign tracking is just ok, not super detailed.

It gets the job done - for NPO's, starts as free, but doesn't have a ton of functionality - it works if you don't need anything too sophisticated.
They used ot have a great integration with Salesforce, but this does not work very well at all anymore.

Mailchimp is a really good service to send email. It's a recognized service and I recommend it if you're planning on sending marketing emails for your business
The main issue I have with Mailchimp is the integration with Salesforce which is poor. Other mail services have better integrations.

Mailchimp has always been complex, the latest UI revision has dealt with a lot of what was confusing. Things are named more sensibly now. Reports let you see how your emails are doing - I've no need for complex goals and the defaults are more than enough for most small mailing lists. Sharing across the team is easy but not everyone gets the audience functionality so most emails are sent as copes of previous campaigns. The free tier is more than enough for most of my clients.
Easy sharing with colleagues Simple email editing tool Sign up forms on phone and websites are easy to use
Editor regularly messes up text formatting (Understandable) focus on sales makes things more complex than they need to be if sales aren't your objective. Groups, lists, subscribers, tags - it's difficult to track who is who

MailChimp is great for list management, email marketing and segmenting your messages to various audiences. A comprehensive email communications platform.
Easy list management capability; great integration with other apps and software (Salesforce, Eventbrite, etc.); helpful analytics; intuitive WYSIWYG design structure
Very little; this is my favorite of all the similar email clients (ConstantContact, Mad Mimi, etc.)

Mailchimp offers many features that other more expensive company’s, such as salesforce uses but in a simplified less expansive format
Some of the templates or self made emails/ forms are hard to edit without affecting another section within the email. Also the HTML is not as accurate as I would like it to be.

I use MailChimp for sales e-mail campaigns, it allows me to see how many people are actually interested and opened the emails and who was not interested at all, it is very useful information when it comes to sales.
MailChimp is very easy-to-use platform. I like that MailChimp is not very expensive and still very useful. E-mails tracking feature is great
Nothing specific. May be adding more sales features to the product would be helpful.
