I like how convenient it was because before we were using mailchimp so this definitely cuts down the time spent dramatically.

Got duped by salesforce salespeople into thinking this is cutting edge technology.
Nothing at all. it can mass send emails well, thats about it. Everything else feels like extra work to use.
Completely terrible in all aspects. UI is horrible, navigation is a pain, EXTREMELY SLOW, lots of service disruptions, does not connect well with sales cloud, data integrity issues. INSANE. Might as well use mailchimp and custom sms plugin for salescloud.

This software is an online SAAS, and is some of the most powerful Marketing Software on the planet. The software is best used in an environment where personalized, but mass email communication is needed--typically for B2C situations. Pardot is an ideal product for B2B solutions. Although the product can be configured and used by end-users, it is best to work with a partner.
There are many updates needed in order to make the software work in a more user-friendly fashion, particularly when compared with less powerful solutions, like Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc. A Salesforce partner will cost additional money to implement the solution, but it is a good investment.

Using Marketing Cloud, we can simply keep tabs on all of our social media profiles, Facebook updates, and email automation tools. Even if this platform is already a part of our website, it integrates with the services of other companies and applications with relative ease. Despite the fact that Marketing Cloud has an email solution, we continue to rely on Mailchimp to assist with channel management.
It is an extremely adaptable and comprehensive application that provides everything you need to efficiently manage your connections with customers. I liked that I could find out a lot of stuff, like what they were doing online, about the people I was trying to sell to. It gave me a comprehensive understanding of their habits, tastes, and contacts with my company, allowing me to make smarter choices and give superior service. In conclusion, if you're wanting to simplify your sales and marketing operations in a strong and user-friendly method, this CRM system is what you need.
It is always frustrating how long it takes for an email activity to load in Journey Builder. Sometimes the platform will indicate that you have been idle even if you have been working on it continuously.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud has some impressive features when integrated with Sales Cloud - in particular the ability to build complex automations based on customer attributes and changes to those attributes, and to add reporting about email activity directly into the CRM.
It takes too many steps to create and send a relatively straightforward email campaign - there's a significant learning curve, and a lot of things that can go wrong if you're working with an integrated instance with Sales Cloud. I'm also not impressed with the email template building capability; by default it's not simple to create good-looking emails. This feels like an old tool that was bolted onto Salesforce (which it was in some sense, given that it was acquired) and lacks the ease-of-use of other programs like Mailchimp.

We love the integration with our current Salesforce Commerce Cloud website and the ability to track everything within and not worry about dozens of different integrations to accomplish the same thing. Because Salesforce is a larger company, you can expect great support, knowledgeable account managers, and constant improvements. As with any platform, there are things we'd like for it to be able to do, I'm confident that in time, many of those things will become available. And anything that doesn't, we'll continue to use 3rd party integrations.
As with all things SalesForce you can expect nothing but the top level of customer support and options. We currently run a Salesforce website, so the integration is flawless and easy. There's not much additional setup or any big learning curve to start using it. The Marketing Cloud is a great way to easily manage our social media accounts, facebook posting, and email automation solutions. Because this platform is integrated with our website, it's still very easy to have outside vendors and software solutions that integrate with it. An example of that is that we still use Mailchimp to help manage our email channel even though the Marketing Cloud offers an email solution as part of their software.
The main disadvantages of using this software are pretty much the same disadvantages of any of the Salesforce platforms and/or integrations. For the uninitiated those are: - Some of the most costly software that accomplishes the same tasks as other platforms - Can be a bit complicated to navigate due to the sheer possibilities + abilities you have using the Salesforce platform. If you understand both the expenses associated with using Salesforce and have people who can either learn it, or teach it, then i'd say there's no other real disadvantages to using it!

I love Mailchimp and personally wish I could switch back to it. Because we rely heavily on Salesforce CRM, my company switched to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, but Mailchimp is a good option for those who can really benefit off of the CRM features they've added
Mailchimp is such a bargain! So many of the other CRM and email automation tools out there can break the bank, but Mailchimp is pretty reasonable considering how many features the platform supports
As they've grown and expanded the capabilities of the tool, the user interface has become increasingly complicated. As an avid software user, it wasn't a big adjustment for me, but I could see beginners struggling with the intricacy of the platform

The free service is perfect for startups and small businesses, but as you grow, consider upgrading to the higher tiers - you won't look back.
Marketing Automation, drag and drop templates, Salesforce Templates, Friendly with Wordpress Plugins
In my opinion, the autoresponder functionality is slightly worse than GetResponse, but it certainly isn't a deal breaker.

Overall it's very useful. It could use some fixes, but is definitely worth it.
Makes email campaign marketing a breeze and is compatible with other software like Salesforce/pardot.
Has a few hiccups. There have been a few instances where some information has been mixed up and this has created large issues.

Mailchimp is an excellent service - no doubt about it. I like the templates and all the automation features as well as landing pages and easy form builds for websites, Facebook, etc. It's got a lot of good features and provides real value for the money.
the way their lists work is so unlike Constant Contact, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud that it is a difficult and can be an expensive transition if you don't know what you are doing. Also, they would do well to make it easier for those switching from another service to theirs to understand the differences and walk them through those.

We've used Mailchimp for many years. It doesn't provide everything we'd need, for a relatively small business, but it provides excellent value for the money.
Mailchimp is easy to use, very flexible and intuitive.
At its core, Mailchimp is an email program. While they have started to build some of the marketing automation sequence schemes into the system, it's not a true marketing automation platform. Also, the interconnectivity with other databases such as SalesForce is not stable or seamless

Works well for our business and we use it in line with marketing cloud
Easy to navigate and send marketing emails. We enjoy that we don't need to be as technical to have a full knowledge of sap or auth to use it.
Less functionality for marketing automation, and we don't have a unifiy way to manage lists. we have many one time use lists.

Integration with Salesforce Cloud and Copper (formelly ProsperWorks) works very very well. Manage lists and forms is a little bit difficult task to me.
Free solution to mailmarketing for small companies, and great pay solution to overall companies. Able to integrate with CRMs solution is maybe a great point.
I started using MailChimp almost 6 or 7 years ago and really I love the simple way to manage lists of contacts, and to dispatch personalizing e-mails. But on the way this software turn very complex. I know that's marketing professionals are able to handle it but a small entrepreneur may be guess to much.

Overall, the experience was positive. I would recommend MC to growing nonprofits.
Mailchimp has great templates and design options. The live chat customer service is a great option when you're stuck or don't understand what to do. MC was also affordable for our list size.
Building and maintaining lists was difficult. Also, MC didn't integrate as seamlessly as was promised with Salesforce. I was disappointed by this and - ultimately - switched to another e-mail marketing tool.

1. It is easy to use email marketing software for small businesses 2. Ability to easily integrate with Salesforce. 3. I can import Mailchimp mail list into Facebook Audiences seamlessly.
1. The templates compared to other Softwares like Active Hosted, SendinBlue, and Benchmark is a too simple. 2. The subscription is very costly if you have a huge customer list.

Very easy to use and templates make design quick and easy.
Mailchimp is well set up, but not as scalable as your company grows. Although it helps automate email communications, it's useful to have a marketing software package that includes emailing, such as Salesforce Pardot, to more easily integrate contacts.

A great tool for email and newsletter marketing especially for small or new businesses. It is easy to use and walks you through its dashboard. It has templates that fit every marketing campaign and has integrations on tools that i use for marketing such as shopify and Salesforce. I can personalize my emails and reports are available to analyze which target market is good for optimization.
Free users can only have limited emails per month unlike paying for the subscription which has unlimited sending of emails. That goes for the number of subscribers, too.comparative reports, address finder and segmentation are also locked in free subscription.

MailChimp integrates with a lot of other software, such as wordpress, eventbrite, and salesforce, which makes it easier to use within your already existing setup. It's become one of the standards in marketing and email management.
Initial setup to make it look the way you want can take a little while.

It was easy to design beautiful marketing campaign to our list - quickly. It was easy enough to understand even for those employees with no background in marketing automation.
Ease of use. I've used quite a few email marketing tools, and MailChimp is one of the best. I like the fact that there are built-in templates which are fully customisable. Integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, too. The program is really easy to use, even for those who have never used marketing automation tools before
Would be great if they could add more visual reporting like Google Analytics without having to export the data to Excel.

MailChimp is a very effective email marketing tool. It is very easy to setup and get it started. With the out of the box layouts it is easy to make and send nice-looking and professional emails. It also gives you many statistics so that you can track and improve your email marketing activities.
Of course marketing is much more than only email marketing. It's just a tool to help you in your marketing strategy.

Mass emails from Salesforce!
I like that it gave me the ability to send mass emails directly from contacts and groups in Salesforce.
This software was not user friendly. It took a lot of playing around to figure out how to nail it. It coul be laid out much nice to help guide the user.

This is one of the best software out there, and you'll love using it.
The email marketing program Mailchimp is great for bulk emailing. At no extra charge, you can use an extensive library of pre-made email templates and landing pages. Giphy, logos, Instagram, website , Canva, Shopify, Zapier, Google Business, Google Analytics, Salesforce integrations are the additional features of Mailchimp.
The analytics of Mailchimp app is quite poor, It can be challenging to manage an extensive list of contacts in Mailchimp.
