As a church planter, I needed something affordance, easy to implement and effective. Tithe.ly is all of these things. I’ve recruited other churches small and large to Tithe.ly.
Service planning is not as robust as Planning Center. But there are always improvements coming down the pike.

We chose Tithe.ly as our online giving platform because of pricing and the text-to-give feature. It has been a great choice for us so far! As a straight-foward giving platform, not a donor management system, it lacks some functionality on the admin side that would be helpful, and therefore, it sometimes takes a bit of time for me to find the information I'm looking for. Their customer service has been wonderful, always very responsive and informative. If you're looking for something to handle your online giving (not full-service donor management), then Tithe.ly would be a great choice for you!
Customer service, pricing
Not full service, we may switch to a full-service option eventually (like Planning Center Giving)

Having giving, sermons, and registration available right on the app is awesome! It has a lot more features then planning center had so paying double for what we paid them monthly seems worth it!
Building the church app and website with them was such a smooth process!
I do feel like there are some glitches and didn't love that I had just learned all of the tithe.ly software and then had to learn the elvanto as well.
Thank you Elizabeth! We're so happy to hear that you are served well by our Tithe.ly team, and also enjoy using the product.

Their giving suite is very easy to use and we've seen consistent increases in digital giving since implementation in 2018.
I feel like Tithely's ChMS could be built out more to include more robust service planning and event an accounting feature.

Overall, this software program is very promising and can center and cater to giving and tithing for our church members and others who may want to sponsor something or come to an event.
I like how easily accessible this software is and encouraging ease of use through an app at any given time. As a busy working mom and ministry leader volunteer, my mind is often wandering and catching up at odd times where when I think about giving towards something specific I can have that option at my fingertips.
What I like least about this software is also offering a sign up/registration with an event within the giving portion as well.

The biggest benefit to this software is knowing what's going on. Reporting is easy and immediate, removing the guesswork and allowing for more robust planning.
How easy it is to use even for beginners and those for whom technology is difficult/new.
There are still some features not as robust so we have to use a separate program that doesn't integrate with Breeze/Tithe.ly. Events Manager and externally received donations (PayPal, etc.) are too manual.

Business problems solved: Ease of use for donors in Tithely Giving. CMS capability used, including tracking activities, worship service planning, financial management, critical files management
Within one family of software much of what a church needs is available. Also critical is their mission-oriented customer support.
There are some growing pains and a bit of over-promise not quite yet delivery on their next-gen CMS. We began with Tithely Giving - best-in-class and then Elvanto, a CMS that they bought and integrated. It's a good CMS and they have been working on improving the backbone to allow seamless sync'ing of the various products, but Elvanto is feeling dated now and lacking some love. For example, Tithely Messaging is good but not available directly from Elvanto, and Elvanto features not available yet to Messaging.
Thank you Pastor Robert! We're so happy to hear that you are served well by our Tithe.ly team, and also enjoy using the product.

We started using this service for an online giving option prior to the COVID pandemic. Great timing. I have attended numerous webinars and want to continue using more of their services as I feel that it is a great bang for your buck. They offer so much more than just online giving. They offer management and planning. It's well worth it.
There's nothing I don't like about it. It's great!

I like the Tithely vision: a whole suite of products under one roof. But given that they've bought different products and merged them rather than developing from scratch, there's little continuity between the products. They don't fix bugs and dont demonstrate a culture that even cares about the bugs. I feel as though those doing the development planning have NEVER worked in a church before, because of the amount of core functionality missing. That said, this company has the potential to be the leader in church tech products if they'd just change their culture, quit launching half-baked products, and fix what's wrong with current products. They love God and want to serve the church. Hopefully they can fix what ails them so they can serve even more churches!
Tithely has built an amazing suite of tools for the church, at an amazing price: $99/ month. Really can't beat the price, when you consider that this provides Church Management, Text Messaging, Website, Giving, Media, and a Mobile App
There are TONS of missing features and functionality, and this isn't disclosed or known until after you've made the conversion and are in too deep to switch again. For example, in ChMS, -The framework is outdated - 20 years old or more. -Automated reports really aren't reports, just an email reminder to run a report -Due to bugs, Giving transactions dont auto-populate in ChMS -No conditional rules...
