1). More visibility on calibration interval period 2). Ability to modify at any given time calibration status of any given gage 3). Good technical support after purchasing the agreement.
The ability to run report based on custom criteria. In any given day, an auditor may come and audit us for gages, where we need to quickly identify gage based on possibly serial number, model number, owner, calibration date, recalibration due date, cost to calibrate, R&R, etc.
Data entry on comment section. Line break must be made with multiple keystrokes. I also least like the way calibration history is entered. Too many fields, and awkward way to freeze information.

We can easily and efficiently manage 2000+ gages with this software, which is extremely important due to the limited human resources we have to address this.
The number of features it has is so extensive, it would be hard to imagine someone using them all. It is also very customizable and mostly intuitive to learn at least the basic functions. It performs well for someone working with several hundred gages or more. Their customer service is excellent should a problem ever present itself.
GAGEtrak 7 has a dashboard feature which some may find useful, but is mainly just window dressing. The relatively high price may be prohibitive for smaller scale users. There is at least some learning curve for inexperienced users. I have also experienced my fair share of crashes due to an "unexpected error."

Time saver, great organizing, and scheduling.
I like the software to monitor our gage calibrations, and like the cloning feature so that adding new gages only takes a couple minutes. I also like the different reports, and the export feature.
The inability to edit the dropdown lists are a constant nuisance. The upgrade cost is excessive. I also would like to see more automation.

It is a professional application which is excellent for tracking and scheduling the calibration recall of our instruments.
GAGEtrak offers a comprehensive solution for our calibration recall needs. It has proven to be invaluable for tracking and scheduling the calibration of our instruments.
The need to purchase a support agreement for support past the initial period. The software is quite stable and, once set up, problem free. The cost for the support agreements is excessive. Support and minor updates should be included with the purchase of the software. Users should only have to pay for major updates to the software.

Centralized tracking of all measurement tools in one program. History of measurement tool life and cost.
Straight forward to use and has extra features such as GRR built in. Customization what my preferences are easy to implement. The Dashboard is one of the best features as it display all due and past due tools.
Its does not link attachments from the calibration Tab to the Gages tab (Like when a new cert of calibration is available to replace the old on). Some of the entities cannot be delete from the Dropdown List Management section and I am not sure where to delete them.

It is very easy to use the and it help track past due calibrations.
The ease of use to track gauges and run R&R studies. The Dashboard feature is also great for a quick look at what is due or coming due for calibrations.
The only think I have an issue with is that sometimes the software is very slow and there is a lag when trying to open it.

Not easy to use. I get lost.
It keeps track of our calibration.
I know what I want when I'm looking for a tool. But not easy to find what I'm looking for. I just poke and hope. it's taken 3 of us to figure out a few simple steps. When looking for the last ID used to input a new gage. The system doesn't usually keep it in numerical order. It's bit me before, I have to just click to the right and go thru all the gauges. I want a simple system. So a low score from me, until I figure this thing out.

The Help and User's guide offer some great tips for record navigation, and using record filters, etc. We also have some great training options for you and your team, as our technical support team. Record keeping for calibration maintenance
Cost effective solution that gives the business what it needs. You are easily able to track assets that need to be monitored for calibration.
Support is great but seems it is needed way too much during initial setup and working the bugs out. When the manufacturer includes a program with the product and says run this when you experience problem A. That is an issue. You need to resolve the problem and not give a utility that only fixes it on a temp basis.

Improved control of gages.
It has many well thought out features. Nice reports that show what is coming due. More features than we use everyday. The features if used will lead to cost savings.
Software is not intuitive. Instructions and manuals have been weak. Lead times for support is long.

The dashboard was precise, going from screen to screen was easy , it helped us follow and ensure accuracy and dependability. Your reports view is easy to use along with your other kits
i would say there is alot of areas that we do not use, the search feature can be improved, i think this ties in with the slow response time for clicks. generally kind of slow, is there any defrag for the large DB

To put it simply, low cost and ease of use.
Looking back, the software has paid itself several times. The best feature is the pie chart at a glance.
One major con, the software sometimes requires a few extra clicks to what you would think to be intuitive.

The menu are easy to use and reports can be mortified to fit my needs. There is lots of functions that help with other quality tasks.
Price is my concern. If the price were lower, I could use it in other departments to track tools and fixtures.

Ability to manage hundreds of gages and maintain compliance to automotive quality standards.
The software has all the functionality required, and services required to meet the strict automotive standards.
Interface could be a bit more intuitive/user friendly. As a manager who only rarely accesses the system, I sometimes struggle to find my way around... Also networking capabilities need to improve. In order to comply and back up information, this needs to work flawlessly from our network.

It can be access from any PC with the software installed. Functions the same as regular Gagetrak. The cost of the service is good.
Customer service has been insufficient and we are struggling to make the adjustments. I started multiple tickets through the Gagetrack portal with no response. I involved my own IT department to try to work with the Gagetrak IT support. They are not making the fixes we require. Mainly the printing of calibration lables is costing the company a lot of money because we can't get the settings to be accepted that we need.

The MSA feature is great, I used a lot of GRR studies for PPAP, plus the calibration label printing, it is neat and profession looking.
Cost to upgrade is the item that I like least, it costs a lot to upgrade to newer version, I probably stick with what I have which is still function.

I think price is at the high end versus other options out there. Need to look to get more competitive in pricing.
