What is Kisi?
Kisi is a cloud-based secure access control system designed to help enterprises across various industries such as real estate, IT, healthcare, education, and manufacturing manage door access for authorized personnel or visitors using a combination of sensors and mobile devices. Features include user authentication, alarms, zone sharing, user group management, and device status monitoring.
The application comes with Kisi Reader Pro, a Bluetooth and NFC-enabled wall reader system, which self-calibrates to improve unlock time and provides feedback via the software regarding remotely opened doors. Administrators can control gate access across multiple locations, review past events or door entries through recorded snapshots, share access permissions, and configure security settings. The Kisi Controller system lets security teams manage access to four doors, elevators, or turnstiles simultaneously and receive alerts for unauthorized entries.
Kisi offers integration with various third-party systems such as Cisco Meraki, Okta, Google Calendar, JumpCloud, Nexudus, Optix, Kibana, Envoy, and more. Businesses can share access keys via email and enable remote unlocking of doors for employees and authorized guests. It also allows security teams to maintain an event log and allocate temporary keys to visitors.
