Pros

Sortly is very easy to use, the barcode scanner is very simple and it does amazing keeping track of inventory their help desk is amazing (not that we have needed to use it more than once).
The ability to take a scan of the bar code on most items is very helpful. It helps capture the serial number which in turn helps us track when the item was purchased.
The ease of use of this software is the best part. With features that make it easy to see what inventory you have where, it is the best platform that I have found for my small business.

Pros

The customer service I think is the best feature. They are pretty responsive and pretty friendly.
There are very few things in this world today that have given me more confidence rather than less. Shopventory is a miracle solution for us.
Their support team is fantastic and is more knowledgeable about other platforms like Square than the Square customer support teams. When dealing with integration issues).

Cons

I find it frustrating often and it is difficult to find support.
The software is missing an option for filtering items through multiple tags. Right now, we can select a single tag for filtering.
Search field suing the web / computer doesn't work as well as the apps. Low inventory alerts are needed.

Cons

There is a few basic things missing, like the possibility to write notes on a partially received PO, or if you make a mistake. In fact you can't write notes anywhere which is quite annoying.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars, they deserve the sky. We will 100% be purchasing a subscription and will not consider it to be wasted money at all.
We had two locations that were very hard to manage, one was an open air market where sales went very quickly and this software solved our problems instantly.

I've enjoyed using Sortly over the last 12 months for the art dept's inventory of frames, pedestals. audio/visual, and other. I've been impressed with the ease of use and mobile platform.

Pros

Ease of use: easy to set up folders and files, easy to quickly sort through inventory.

Cons

It's a little expensive if it was being used by an individual, but they might be able to use the free version.

The overall functionality is easy to use and makes sense. Taking photos for each item makes it easy to record information. Tagging each item with specific instruments is great.

Cons

Items seem to disappear or move from account to account. This could possible be caused by updates but none the less makes things difficult.

It has helped streamline our business and saved us money by knowing how much we have in inventory at a glance.

Pros

We started our franchise 3 years ago and at first we did not have any way other than by hand to know how much product we have in stock. Causing us to spend more on product than we needed to. Sortly was easy to set up and easy to keep up to date. At a glance, we can see how much we have in inventory and make our buying decisions based on stock as well as likely use. Love it!

Cons

There is nothing that I have found that I dislike about Sortly.

The benefits that have been realized are the easy of knowing the quantity of inventory we have and having notifications sent when there is a low stock. Sortly was easy to implement throughout the organization as it has a very simple mobile app that all can use with ease.

Pros

Sortly has many features that simplify the management of inventory, one of the best features in the barcode scanner. This helps to simplify the movement of inventory. Sortly is also very simple to use for people who do not have a large knowledge of technology.

Cons

At this moment, the features that are currently being utilized by me are more than enough. I have found that I have had very minimal negative experience.

Overall Sortly has significantly improved our laboratory's inventory management by providing a user-friendly platform, efficient tracking capabilities, customization options and convient mobile accessibility.

Pros

Sortly is a user-friendly interface. It's functionality for keeping track of kits is excellent. It is available as a mobile app, which is a major advantage. The notification system helps us stay on top of important tasks, such as monitoring expiration dates og restocking kits. It sends reminders and alerts.

Cons

Barcode scanning limitations: In our laboratory we utilize kits from various manufactorers, each with their own unique barcodes. It would be beneficial if there was a seamless integration between Sortly and these barcodes, enabling us to effortlessly scan them and instantly view the quantity of kits available. Moreover, it would be ideal if Sortly could automatically capture the expiration date of the oldest kits, streamlining the process of tracking and managing expiration dates.

Great, this app is amazing, almost 4 years ago i did a big research and you guys were the best by far. Thank you once again.

Pros

I´ve been using sortly for almost 4 years now, and it was a game changer to my company. I always give feedbacks because i know you guys always pay attention to them and through the years you have been always improving the app.

Cons

We struggle a bit with the mobile app and also I don´t know how to track sales. How to instead of moving to a folder that i call "sold items" i can actually press a button that says that it was sold? im asking this because i would love to have automatic reports instead of doing them by myself.

Pros

Extremely user friendly interface, cost effective inventory manangement using either mobile phone, desktop or iPad. Puts Inventory management into all of our team members hands at a minimal cost.Makes purchasing stock efficiently a breeze with csutomisable PDF inventory reports, that make extremely good shopping lists.

Cons

Sortly is missing some features that would make it perfect for us. Ability to scan in cases which update the individual quantities.Kits or BoM, Scanning a SKU Barcode reducing the correct quantity of all parts.Integration with Xero Inventory management, which would allow syncing of realtime parts pricing for example.

I have been using the program for the past two (2) years. It was overwhelming at first, but any new program is. I however have been able to get assistance and questions answered as needed.

Pros

I like that a file can be created per room. Inside that folder is more folders to have everything listed by groups. I really like the reports as well.

Cons

The only cons I have are due to lack of experience in the program its self. Maybe some quick glance training could be available. This is the possibility that these do exists I just don't know or remember that.

Pros

Since using Sortly, I have really been impressed by the accuracy and ease of keeping track of my companies stock. It has saved a lot of time and money using this software.

Cons

Since using Sortly, I haven't came across any issues. I have only used it for stock control and haven't used any other feature like the barcode/scanners. Therefore, I haven't had any issues.

It gets the job done without being overwhelming. It provided a way to establish a new process in our organization and has allowed us to start accurately tracking inventory in/outflows. The app helps a lot.

Pros

It's very easy to use when tracking a moderate amount of different types of inventory. The app makes it easy to increase/decrease inventory quantities by specific item. The folder system makes it effortless to keep everything organized.

Cons

Need to have a way to track inventory quantities better. Could be a more robust system. If you have never tracked inventory before, however, it's a great system to get started with.

Best Inventory System on the market!

I really needed a system that could track my inventory of parts for our crawl space business. I checked all the others on the market, but Sortly had features that came with the initial purchase that were add-on features on others you had to pay extra for. If you want a great system to control your inventory and where it's going, get Sortly!! Can't beat the price either!

Pros

I love the fact that my project managers and myself can glide through checking our inventory with our crews with just the scan of a QR code!

Cons

There needs to be more versatility on how you can control the settings, and maybe a way to lock a folder so nothing goes in or out of the folder to help not having it placed into the wrong folder by confusion.

Ability to print and share inventory list. Ability to create custom fields. Ability to associate photos. Makes tracking unique items easier.

Cons

Printing doesn't include custom fields negating the value of this feature. File hierarchy isn't easy to manipulate when inventory items need to be moved around. Could be made easier and less clunky. Need ability to delete, hide, or reorder fields. Great tool for managing furniture for a move, art inventory, or anything that needs to be reviewed by a third party and tagged. Would like if App vs desktop version more similar. Would like ability to sort by a tag. Not sure the scan and QR code is relevant to my needs as a professional organizer. Seems more useful for someone with actual inventory (mulitples of the same item) vs a home owner with lots of unique items.

We are not using all the features of Sortly by any means but has proven the perfect solution for what we need which is managing and controlling our inventory and ensuring we always have the stock we need on hand. I do think that the Advanced plan should have more than two users included.

Pros

We use Sortly to control our stock of amenities and supplies for rooms and it is a simple and straightforward tool for that purpose. It was easy to set up our inventory and the minimum level fields and tags make reordering straightforward and the price makes tracking the value of inventory very easy. Being able to upload a number of photos eliminates confusion over which item is which.

Cons

Only 2 users on the Advanced plan is not very generous compared to competitors. 5 would seem to be a fairer deal

Easy and Helpful Inventory Tracker

Pros

Sortly Pro allowed our team to keep track of our inventory. Inventory updating is possible and easy. Barcoding is a feature that was mostly needed by our team for our supplies and Sortly Pro provided that feature. Sortly Pro allows our team to create reports and analytics regarding our products which is a great feature as well.

Cons

Needs more updates with its current features, but everything other than that works great.

Easy and Aforadable

we run a small hvac company and this tool has helped us reduce our spending by allowing our project managers to see what we have on sight that may have been returned from other jobs and prevents us from over ordering. it also allows team members the ability to see what we have on and at a moments notice. this has been a great fit for our company

Pros

Sorry Pro was very easy to setup and to use. I was easily able to add items keep them categorized for easy searches

Cons

for the purpose we are using this i have not found any cons yet. I am still looking

Staging inventory management

We are able to move and add to inventory on the go without being in the warehouse. Or select inventory for our next staging job without being in the warehouse.

Pros

The ability to make a quick photo and add an item to inventory on our mobile phone is necessary to our use of Sortly.

Cons

We move inventory in and out on a daily basis. There are too many steps to move an item, especially if you found that Iitem by searching for that category. For instance, if I search for "chair" and there are several chairs to move to a new house, then I can only move them one at a time. If you don't search for an item you can move multiple items at one time.

Sortly pros and cons

We aren’t able to use sortly for all of our inventory needs so we use multiple platforms which is time consuming and costly both in subscriptions and Human Resources.

Pros

You can categorise all product into photos that visually assist staff to identify product

Cons

It is time consuming to move inventory for hire in and out of folders. It can take longer than the actual job to sort folders Reporting is limited Would be better if you could sort product over all folders and levels from a list / tick box to move into an out / hire folder. Currently have to move by category which means for our business moving 1 product at a time into a folder of up to 50 products per hire job.
