Pros

They have done a wonderful job in taking care of us from learning to use it to just small mistakes here and there. The support is outstanding.
Fishbowl is very user friendly, has great support, and great integrations with our other systems.
Our company evaluated about half a dozen different inventory management systems for features, support, ease of operation, price, etc. Fishbowl was the hands down winner, and remains the champion.

Pros

The ease of use of this software is the best part. With features that make it easy to see what inventory you have where, it is the best platform that I have found for my small business.
This software works extremely well, the structure of it is brilliant. I love how it integrates with dropbox and creates a filing hierchy.
The ability to take a scan of the bar code on most items is very helpful. It helps capture the serial number which in turn helps us track when the item was purchased.

Cons

It is very frustrating when you are in the middle of something to have to force close the program and start over. This happens to everyone in our company so it is not user error or a computer error.
We have a repetitive problem with line items coming up as 0, which causes our orders to refuse to ship. It's time-consuming to repeatedly call to get them unstuck.
Horrible Company, they use to be good now they are just completely useless.

Cons

I find it frustrating often and it is difficult to find support.
The software is missing an option for filtering items through multiple tags. Right now, we can select a single tag for filtering.
Search field suing the web / computer doesn't work as well as the apps. Low inventory alerts are needed.

It has brought excitement to our team and boosted morale of the whole company knowing we are taking steps to increase the efficiency of our processes

Pros

My favorite feature is how it caters to manufacturing with the ability to create BOM's by stages. Tracking this sort of process has been an internal struggle

Cons

We can't link to view POs of a part number while viewing in inventory. We research a lot of parts that way and it would be more convenient.

inventory tracking is easy

Pros

It is very easy to use. Modules connect to each other. Reports can be modified easily. The technical help is fantastic.

Cons

Does not have accounting module. some reports that are exported need to be set up in columns so its easier to pull and sort data.

Packs a Punch for the Price

From a usability standpoint, FishBowl is very competitive. What it lacks in a 'complete solution', it makes up for in custom report writing, and software flexibility.

Pros

Integrations with QuickBooks can be incredibly useful for companies already based in QuickBooks. It makes training for accounting much easier. From a manufacturing perspective, FishBowl is a fairly powerful tool that can track inventory and assist in production planning.

Cons

Since we are a manufacturing company that sells to distributors, one of our core 'ERP' requirements is storing quotes to distributors/customers for parts/products. If FishBowl had some sort of CRM, it would make the software more robust.

Horrible Company, they use to be good now they are just completely useless

This company use to be good, now the software crashes constantly including Fishbowl anywhere, they want us to pay for hosting and constantly pay for services. In the past, it was working fine but now is just completely useless, don't waste your money and find something better. Once Fishbowl didn't export properly, good luck with your quickbook data as it will throw all your accounting off.

Pros

If you do simple wholesale, this is fine if you don't need their support.

Cons

1) Constantly crashing and supports wants money for bunch of error codes when doing export to Quickbook 2) Tons of data always didn't get exported and FB is no where for help 3) Can't pull accurate report on inventory valuation summary, excel export is garbage and hard to sort, can't sort valuation summary by date, and all reporting feature are just bad 4) They will ask for a lot of money when their software constantly crashes and hard to reach anyone to help 5) Very difficult to use for manufacturing such as selecting bill of material and etc.

Fishbowl is very intuitive and easy to navigate - implementation is fast and users become familiar with the system within a few days. Ease of use, cost, and support are big positives. Pros

We run FB 2016.11 with QuickBooks Premier 2015. FB handles quoting, sales orders, your basic pick/pack/ship, purchase orders and inventory. It has BOM capability but we find this limited. The price was right for us, esp. compared to our previous Sage software. Prepare to spend 3 to 4x the cost of the software in customization, support and initial set-up. I read through all the reviews (at this time 126 of them) and agree with the many that indicate that support is very difficult to get a hold of. I also echo the complaints about the need for A LOT of custom reports for simple things. And the fact that the software has bugs and that you WILL be resetting your server to complete end-of-day export to Quickbooks. Maybe more often if you export more...

FB has abled our business to grow from a home based co. to a 10,000ft fully functioning warehouse

Being able to operate above and beyond to what we used to. We can now compete with our competitors

Pros

I absolutely love that FB is easy to use and easy to teach. It has all the features that our company uses daily. Examples include customer pricing rules, customer "numbers" or customer sku's, Auto PO function, The import/export feature has been a God-send when we need to import products to our website or send information to our customers. The substitute feature is very helpful too. We also really love how we can create custom fields within every module. I really love how the FB team remembers our company when we call and goes above and beyond when we have a hiccup or questions. We can thank FB for some of our company's success. W/o being able to correctly track inventory and use it for daily operations, we wouldn't be operating at the level we are today.

Cons

There aren't things that I like "the least" but there are things I wish FB offered/had that would help our type of business/company. This includes: 1) Since we are a product distributor, we provide a lot of our customers w/ "quotes." FB has the ability to create an "estimate" but no way to store it or look back at it for reference. Pricing rules are essentially only created in our line of operation...
