Stockpile

Inventory management solution for small businesses

5.0/5 (4 reviews)

Stockpile overview

What is Stockpile ?

Stockpile is a cloud-based inventory management platform that helps small businesses manage stock across multiple locations and process transactions. It enables users to create a product catalog with details including name, stock-keeping unit (SKU), location, manufacturer name, and universal product code (UPC).

Businesses can customize currency preferences within Stockpile as per individual requirements and categorize added products using labels. It allows managers to add new users on the platform with information such as name, contact details, or location and grant role-based permissions to specific individuals. Users can filter the transaction database by location and add comments in multiple entries based on assigned roles.

Stockpile enables professionals to generate reports related to stock counts, inventory/stock payments, and daily transactions. Organizations can remove damaged stock from the inventory count and receive automated alerts on low stock levels. It also helps users import CSV files to the platform and add images to existing inventory items.

Pros
I've always wanted to learn about stocks and investing, however, the market is saturated with different options. I found Stockpile to be easy to use and a great tool for my tween as well.

Cons
I have no cons as of yet. It is extremely affordable and a great entry into investing.

10/10

Pros
I loved how simple it was to use. Easily accessible stock data, and companies added regularly. Invest by theme is wonderful, and very easy to transfer to your bank account.

Cons
The only thing I would change, would be to cut down on wait time for money transfer from account to bank. However, the app is solid and I love it.

Used for school inventory

Used monthly for 6-12 months

Review Source: Capterra

Using this for our inventory has enabled the teaching staff to know what materials are readily available in our school and where they are located. Teachers are able to use more items because they know what the school has currently.

Pros
It is easy to search for items that have been loaded into the inventory. Easy to add materials as well.

Cons
Challenging to print pictures of the items that have been inventoried. Sometimes, searching for items brings up things that are not relevant to the search.
