Core

The primary reason we have remained with Unleashed for the past three years has not been because it has exceeded our expectations, but because of the significant time and resources required to implement and migrate to a new inventory management system.

On multiple occasions, the solution offered was to upgrade to a paid "Customer Success" plan rather than addressing the lack of timely support.

Response times regularly stretched to one to two weeks, which is simply unacceptable for business-critical software.

ICT Support and Project Coordinator

B2B portal is a very useful feature, which is the main reason we chose Unleashed for our business as a multi-location restaurant.

Sales Manager

Unleashed has significantly streamlined our inventory processes and improved operational efficiency. While there are minor areas for improvement, it’s a powerful and reliable tool overall.

Director

Unleashed syncs all of the information between my Shopify store and Xero, so now stock levels are always accurate (no more overstocking / stockouts) and accounts are up-to-date in both businesses.

I think an inventory management system should have a better barcode scanning system to help manage inventory.

Unfortunately, the customer support has been consistently disappointing.

It is relatively easy to use, and once implemented, the day-to-day functions are straightforward.

The biggest disappointment has been the customer support.

Occasional syncing issues with third-party integrations

Robust inventory management with real-time updates.

we didn't know the features we didn't have), and so started playing $79 p/month for a premium customers service package (live online messenger service + phone number) that we didn't actually receive - and couldn't access.

It requires you to type the exact product title, ensuring that you don't make any errors, even in the order of the words provided.

On a point of functionality, I would advise all potential clients to look very closely at the "search" system when inputting orders using Unleased.

Having assumed that a search functionality would exist in such a well reviewed solution, we had subscribed and then later found it to be lacking during the "setup" process.

Manager

Issues with mapping accounts to Xero which has taken Unleashed support over a month to resolve.

Full Time Translator

We used the software to manage, store, ship, and process all the goods we have in our warehouses across the country.

Systems Architect

They are improving it all the time but now it's been bought by Access Group I want to see how that pans out, as it could be a positive or a negative.

The problem was we never had the new features added to our profile (ie.

As an admin it is easy to configure, they have great documentation, and their help desk are normally very responsive.

The API is good but it lacks some things that you would think were no-brainers.

The ability to have a perpetual inventory has transformed how we manage our accounts and allowed us to make better decisions about prices and margins.

Unleashed's own sales team accepted that this was the case.

Admin and Marketing Manager

feeling more comfortable about growth as we expand across various channels while having a real time view of stock available and what parts of Assembled products we need to order to make sure stock is always available

For example: I spent ages trying to work out why my initial stocktake would not show the available stock but could not find anywhere that I should not do a stocktake on supplier stock that is auto-dissasembled but that I should provide the numbers of the raw stock that is broken up into BOM's.

I would highly recommend it for small-ish businesses.

The barcoding features helped us a lot in that.

After spending time building several disconnected spreadsheet I was excited that Unleashed could give us all of this analytical data in a central and connected place.

The ability to add serial numbers, and the interface between Xero and Unleashed, is great.

Supply Chain & Logistics Associate

Ability to integrate with bar-coding and inventory tracking hardware

connect our Production, Purchasing and Sales in the same tool

Every part of the software has careful thought behind it - and it has guided us as an electronics manufacturer during our expansion.

I would always do lots of research on available knowledge base before I sent an email to support but could not find the answers.

We find quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, and reports easy to use.

Some users report that Unleashed offers strong value for money, citing its robust functionality, integration capabilities, and affordability for small businesses. Some reviewers feel the pricing options have improved over time, with flexible plans now available. Users think the software’s features justify the cost, and some appreciate that premium support is only required for a limited period. However, some reviewers find Unleashed expensive, especially compared to alternatives, and mention that new features may require higher pricing tiers. Some users say the cost can be a barrier for smaller businesses or legacy customers expecting access to new functionalities.

The Access Group

They are only open 8-5 Mountain Time and most times we wait 2 - 4 hours to speak with tech support only to be told that Fishbowl cannot do that. Or No fishbowl cannot do it that way.

Electronic Systems Manager

Working with complex electronic manufacturing processes, I have yet to find a need that fishbowl does not meet. When I'm having trouble configuring fishbowl to my liking the support team is very helpful and has successfully aided me in achieving our business goals.

ITAdmin

Great support structure when product expectation is not meeting identified needs or when question arises that is not readily available n documentation.

Automate & simplify the manufacturing process. Fishbowl is a complete manufacturing and inventory management solution, including advanced work orders, material requirements planning (MRP), bills of materials, barcode scanning, and hosted in the cloud.
