Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Passwork overview
What is Passwork?
Passwork is an on-premise corporate password manager built for security-conscious organizations. Developed and headquartered in Europe, Passwork meets GDPR, NIS2, ENS and other European regulatory requirements by design.
All passwords and credentials are stored exclusively on your own server. Double-layer AES-256 encryption (server-side and client-side) with zero-knowledge architecture means your data stays within your infrastructure, fully under the control of your system administrators.
Passwork is ISO/IEC 27001 certified. Your data never leaves your infrastructure. Trusted by enterprises for secure password sharing, privileged access management, and centralized credential governance.
Key benefits of using Passwork
All data is encrypted using the AES-256 algorithm, stored securely on your own server, and managed solely by your system administrators. Passwork can be installed on Windows and Linux, with or without Docker.
Invite your colleagues, create shared folders, and add credentials from any service. Employees can quickly find the passwords they need, while administrators manage access rights, monitor all activity, and audit security parameters.
Passwork helps organizations meet information security requirements and automate security audits. When an employee leaves, Passwork analyzes the passwords they had access to, marks them as potentially compromised, and prompts a timely update.
Configure LDAP group mapping, SSO authentication, and API access to integrate Passwork seamlessly into your infrastructure and adapt it to your organization's workflows.
Our technical team is always available to assist remotely with installation and configuration. A personal manager is also available for faster, dedicated support.
