What is SodeaSoft Gnt Planning Web?
GNT Planning Web is the online successor to GNT Planning, SodeaSoft's Gantt chart software for architects, engineering firms, and project managers. It runs entirely in the browser, so schedules can be built, edited, and shared from any device without installing anything.
Tasks can be linked to show dependencies, reorganized by drag and drop, and highlighted with custom background and font colors. Progress is tracked task by task with a visual fill indicator, or updated in bulk from a chosen date. A Forecast Planning mode, available on Pro and Team, builds schedules using relative week numbers instead of fixed dates, both on screen and in PDF exports, useful for tender proposals before real dates are confirmed.
A presentation mode turns any schedule into a full screen view for meetings, with the option to create events directly from that view. Every plan includes PDF export, automatic saving, and version history with one click restore. Legacy .gntx files from the desktop version import directly, and any planning can be exported back to .gntx as a local backup.
The application is hosted on Microsoft Azure backups and secure authentication, including optional 2FA. Three plans are available: Free for a single user with up to two plannings, Pro for teams needing unlimited plannings and role based permissions, and Team for unlimited users under one flat monthly price.
