Pros

Easy to use, good loading times, simple but effective design, great reporting capabilities.
I really love the ease of tracking time and the multiple options you have as a user of the system. The system is intuitive and there are great resources for reporting.
Our team is so happy to have made the switch to Mavenlink. The sales and support team have been outstanding.

Pros

It's very easy to learn - with clean interface and powerful tools, you can quickly start utilizing FinancialForce in just a couple of days.
Web-based, integrated with Salesforce, easy to set up, easy to configure, easy to maintain, always up to date, great support.
A great upgrade from what our company was initially using - easy and straight forward.

Cons

We basically had to figure it out on our own. THe "integrations" through thier integration tool are very poorly built and the tool is terrible.
Many ways to do similar things and often so many features you’re unaware of. I find it is intimidating for new users and not as intuitive as other products.
Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, no other application sends me so much email. The color scheme is also boring.

Cons

Very frankly, I hate this tool and very much regret being part of the team that selected it.
The Project Task Gantt view is the fibrillating heart of the tool and is so annoying I find it hard to get the words out.
This product is so infuriating to work with for any length of time. I use this as both Project Manager and a user.

Great new PM System for Consultancy

Tons of access and reporting that we did not have with our prior in house legacy system. Ease of use, cloud based, the list goes on and on!!

Pros

I love the ease of time and exp reporting. Having an entire project in one spot that is not an email inbox is fabulous. RPF, proposal, agreement, work plan, deliverables and collaboration with staff is all on one project feed in the cloud accessed anytime from anywhere. Ditched the vpn too!!

Cons

Complex. Too flexible, can accomplish many tasks too many different ways. Steep learning curve for power users.

Project Management tool that needs work

Pros

This is a cloud based system. Clients can communicate by email or by logging in. The task management was great it allowed users to check off completed tasks.

Cons

Some of the email communication would get lost. Clients were confused my the UI and often refused to us it.

The online Chat support is amazing and my projects flow perfectly. Finally a PM tool that makes TOTAL Business Sense. Thank you Lord and the developers of Mavenlink. I recommend this PM tool to everyone.

Pros

Everything. From building Projects to tracking issues. Adding team members with specific Permissions and have a mission control style cloud based tool where I can access it anywhere is GENIUS!!

- Good cloud based time tracking service that can allocate time to projects and sub-tasks - Assign billable and cost rates to each team member, and assign a role with various permissions - Project and task notes, details and budgets

Cons

- Limited export compatibility with quickbooks Canada. - Limited customization. - Would be better with additional child task levels.

We have been very impressed with Mavenlink so far. As an agile consulting company, we need flexible and responsive business systems to stay ahead of our competition.

This is far more than a project management app. This is a complete enterprise management platform.

Pros

Mavenlink provides an off the shelf cloud based business operations system that complements our business model well. We took advantage of the MavenOPs onboarding support feature as well and have been very well supported as we transition our current systems and projects into Mavenlink. Its ease of use, comprehensive support and economic price point delivers a comprehensive enterprise planning and reporting suite at a fraction of the costs of larger (more cumbersome) systems. The level of support from the Mavenlink team is really impressive.

Cons

I would like to be able to white label email notifications and organic Xero integration but when weighed up with the pros these fade into irrelevance. And that is saying something for us as we rely so much on integration.

Great Product to Bring the Team Together

Since our startup we've used basic spreadsheet tools to capture and analyze data. It was possible to generate project metrics and profitability, but the process was cumbersome. That information is just a click away now. We've also eliminated much of the possibility of our employees entering time to the wrong codes with the task assignment functions.

Pros

Our organization includes some office staff, but is mostly made up of remote employees on our client's project sites. Mavenlink has given us a great tool for communicating with our team, as well as capturing time and expense entries via the Cloud. Our employees really like the interface and the ability to log time and expense from their mobile devices. Also, we've found the online workspace to be of...

Cons

Most of the opportunities I see with the tool could be considered enhancements to the time and expense processing function and invoicing processes. These include: * More flexibility in the Admin's abilities to review, edit and approve project charges in the invoicing cycle would be helpful. *The ability to provide greater detail of expense charges on the invoice (which is a current action item with Mavenlink for us), and * The ability to push transactions that are not time and expense entries, such as taxes, unit bill amounts, etc. to QuickBooks would be helpful.
