Independent research methodology

Verified user reviews

GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.

Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

Pros

“I loved being able to upload custom workouts, videos, and progressions so clients could follow their plans clearly and confidently at home or in the gym.”

Kyle R.

Personal Trainer

“It would be nice to have MFP syncing issues resolved and the ability to delete automated messages without manually deleting one at a time.”

Maegan H.

Owner

“It tracks and monitor progress and habits, has communication tools and nutrition programs.”

Carlin T.

Teacher

Pros

“TrueCoach is, in my opinion, one of the best platforms for personal trainers who work closely 1:1 with clients and want a simple, powerful solution for programming and tracking.”

Elke L.

Owner

“Been getting the runaround with IT in trying to resolve my not receiving emails after mid Februaryxx”

John A.

Executive Vice President

“Having TrueCoach was the perfect tool to keep the momentum going and my clients committed as they had the flexibility of online coaching both with video or just the training plan - as TrueCoach provides all that we need with the training plan calendar layout, note tracking, communication, and exercise library/video sharing.”

Charissa L.

Community Partnerships Lead

Cons

“I found some of the videos quite outdated for the exercise demos, I sometimes struggled to find a good form video and so uploaded a lot of my own instead.”

Amy M.

Owner

“The issues with MyFitnessPal syncing over is constantly a pain.”

Maegan H.

Owner

“I personally don’t like the UI, but that is personal and has nothing to do with its functionality.”

Theekapat C.

ICT Support and Project Coordinator

Cons

“TrueCoach wasn’t designed for that type of workflow, which made it harder to run a 100% online coaching business with a strong emphasis on behavior change.”

Elke L.

Owner

“The workouts were really difficult to customize on a bigger scheme across clients and didn’t have a lot of flexibility.”

Hayley A.

Coach

“The coach side of the app is not user-friendly and never works on a cell phone.”
