What is ThriftCart?

ThriftCart is a point-of-sale system designed to help thrift stores manage donations, inventory, timesheets and other administrative operations. It includes a donation pickup scheduling module, which allows administrators to share pickup, receipts, reminders, and thank you letters with donors.

It provides a timesheets module, which allows businesses to track clock in or out of staff, community workers, and volunteers. ThriftCart offers a self-service kiosk for donors, which helps streamline drop-off donations by allowing donors to fill out donation forms using a tablet or computer and store owners to receive records of dropped-off items on a unified dashboard. Businesses can also use a self-scheduling system to allow the booking of specific dates by donors and screen items as well as profiles using photos and questions.

Pros
Customer service is excellent and I've been so impressed with their lightning-fast responses.
Even without barcodes, we are able to process quickly at times averaging 2 minutes per transaction. We have had excellent luck with the support, updates, and requested changes.
Very kind and helpful in suggesting how to improve on our ideas.
Cons
Because it is Web Based, if you are having a problem with the internet you are unable to access data. However you always have the option to go on your phone to access information in a pinch.
Web Based - if your internet goes down you have no access to the data or the information.
Printing reports is not easy since there is no inherent print feature--must screenshot reports.
