Pros

Dashlane is an established and trusted password manager. It makes it easy to manage multiple passwords, and also generates very strong passwords which is important in our business.
Dashlane has a beautiful, clean UI. It also has excellent integrations for all major browsers as well as mobile platforms.
A secure and organized way to keep track of your many passwords. You don't have to remember any of them and manage your online accounts with peace of mind effectively.

Pros

This is greatly used as this is a great place to save all the passwords and it will autofill. And also recommends when a new website is trying to create a password.
Keeper is an excellent tool for keeping your accounts (and all the data contained in them) secure, and it helps you create secure passwords without having to remember them.
Protection, ease of use, ability to share records with my account managers in the business and the price was good.

Cons

If you lose the master password, all the information is lost forever.
Suddenly stared failing without any reasons or hardware problems. One day it was working fine, then suddenly it just stopped working properly.
The only downside is if you have multiple credentials for one website, Dashlane will autofill for one credential which can make it time consuming to delete and reenter the correct details.

Cons

If those users go on to leave the company, you will be permanently unable to edit those records.
My client sometimes create loads of entries without folders and they are heavy users then get lost.
The only downside for this is - even logging from the same computer after 30 days it needs a code to log in.

Hopefully security on my personal Log In's.

Pros

Makes using many different websites much easier because the Log In is automatic. I does have a good dashboard. My greatest hope is that this is secure, my greatest fear is that it can be hacked.

Cons

It is frustrating occasionally on certain Log Ins, most which have a little different process than the average Log In.

Great for password management

Reviewed 5 years ago

A handy tool for secure password sharing and storage. Only issue is that not all features are on one version of the software. There are three versions (local program, browser extension, and web browser console) and not one has all of the programs functions, you have to move around to access all the features.

Pros

Ease of Sharing, security, software/browser intergration

Cons

Amount of software integration required or prompted for, functions are spread out over several versions of the product

Just one password

Reviewed 3 years ago

The experience could not be better. Dashlane allows me to have maximum security on all my accounts with minimal effort and keeps me up to date on any security breaches that I have suffered

Pros

Dashlane allows the management of all your passwords, which today represent an infinite amount of information, with only one password to access or the use of FaceID. This allows you to have different and secure passwords and avoid the use of repeated passwords, with the consequent security risk.

Cons

I practically cannot find any problem, if anything and to point out some inconvenience, that the paid version is needed to be synchronized on different devices

Keep logins secure without wasting time managing account access

Reviewed 8 years ago

Dashlane allows me to maintain a strict security code of requiring every site to have a unique and random password while still enabling an easy way to share access without surrendering the security of that access.

Pros

I like that I don't have to know what any of my passwords are because Dashlane will remember it all for me. Dashlane will also alert me when any large site is compromised (like LinkedIn for example) and instantly give me the ability to change my password.

Cons

While I love the ability for Dashlane's accounts to sync across multiple devices (tablets, phones, laptops) I do have a few Chromebooks that currently are only able to use the web interface. I'm hoping that in the future Dashlane will fully support Chromebooks.

Dashlane has been a fantastic tool for me personally and for streamlining processes for my team too!

Reviewed 7 years ago
Pros

Dashlane has a beautiful, clean UI. It also has excellent integrations for all major browsers as well as mobile platforms. The sharing facilities and security seem robust and well thought out and the security dashboard is an excellent point-of-reference if corporate data security is of concern.

Cons

While the core Dashlane functionality is fantastic, the additions that come with 'Business' are currently thin on the ground. The 'spaces' feature is useful but perhaps lacking in sharing options. However, having spoken to the team at Dashlane on this point, i believe that this functionality is in the software's roadmap and will be arriving soon!

The user interface is not that eye catching and the price tag is a little too high but overall a great software to secure login info.

Dashlane is an easy way for people across our company to safely store their business passwords.

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

As with most businesses, we have a notable variety of electronic platforms we use, that have varying degrees of required password security and forced password change frequency. It is very helpful to have a trusted location where you can store all of those password.

Cons

I sometimes worry about the security, but have never had a problem or heard of a problem with Dashlane security. My worry is more of a general anxiety about storing many passwords in one place.

This helped our IT team manage employees' security without the need to do it manually.

Pros

- it is well organised, fast and efficient. - it is very easy to get the hang of. - there are many useful features such as the security checkup which removes the need for an IT team checkup. - you can easily scale it up to large enterprises. - there is an intuitive developer module. - the pricing is structured well.

Cons

- it could be more affordable for smaller businesses. - there is a smaller range of features in cheaper plans as oppose to competitors such as Dashlane. - there could be a more helpful demo/tutorial.

Fine for tech-saavy users, not for non-techies

Reviewed 4 years ago

For me personally DL has worked acceptably well, allowed upgrading of my password security, identified security risks and helped guide my responses to them. For some in our organization who are less technically inclined, it is too much work and causes too much confusion to be worthwhile.

Pros

Fairly easy to deploy, works across devices, support for phone app login was a good addition, notifications of security breaches that affect logins, very simple for simple logins. Extra note field for storing security question responses for a site. Separate Secure Notes entry type for confidential text info like account numbers, banking info etc. Ability to share password info between Dashlane Users. Emergency contact person designation who can receive access in the event of long-term non-use (presumably due to incapacitation).

Cons

Difficulty dealing with multi-step logins (e.g. Google) and when multiple user IDs are needed for a site. Autogenerated password issues: 1) sometimes don't get saved when PW update is in a separate dialog, 2) using symbols is binary choice, whereas most sites limit use to specific characters necessitating a copy/paste to Notepad then copy/paste to website PW fields. Site-specific options (ignore login fields, ignore N&A fields) can't be set for a page, just for a whole site. Results in either barrages of pop-up dialogs on order entry screens or no help anywhere on the site. Searching for a PW entry is difficult, seems to be limited to a 'begins with' search for URL or site name.

You do not have to remember all of your passwords or write them down on a piece of paper.

Pros

I love the level of security that Dashlane offers. I love that I do not have to remember hundreds of passwords.

Cons

This is a very specific dislike that I have with Dashlane. I am a payroll administrator and upon entering new hires into our payroll system (which is an online database) Dashline will prompt me to fill in employee information with my information from Dashlane. This is a little annoying.

- To be able to centralize passwords is a gift - A sense of security and ease of mind - Adding more than just passwords is a plus

Pros

I have been using Dashlane for a couple of years now. The guys over there at Dashlane are doing an excellent job. I especially like the user friendly dashboard and the extend in which you can add only the details you really need to. I also like that a lot of new features are being added all the time without affecting the overall performance or user friendly dashboard.

Cons

The only thing I hold against Dashlane is that there has been a few times that I have had to force reset the software especially when it is used in combination with the google extension. Other than that I am very pleased.

Secure and Robust

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Dashlane is designed from the ground up to be as secure and robust as possible, and it shows in all of the security measures put into place. This is vital in today's cyber security landscape, especially with people being a key weakness in most systems, meaning a good password manager such as Dashlane is essential.

Cons

While more feature rich than built in password managers, the necessity to install the software could be considered a limitation compared to software such as iCloud Keychain and Google Password Manager.

Dash Lane was not the easiest to setup to get passwords shared amongst team members. We had to contract support and ask them how to share a file of passwords amongst all users that had access to that file instead of sharing each password individually.

Dashlane is amazing for password security

Reviewed 5 years ago

Dashlane is a password protection app that every business and individual should invest in. Virtual security is not something to take lightly and should be protected at all costs.

Pros

Dashlane is a must-have for password security. You can store an unlimited number of passwords, snd add emails, security questions, and other notes to each password to make sure you have all the information in one spot. Dashlane also allows you to store secure documents and sync your passwords to your device so they auto-fill on your web browser when you log in.

Cons

I had a hard time trying to initially set up two-factor authentication for Dashlane. They could make the process for that easier to find. Other than that, the software is foolproof.

Passwords & Keeper

I do not use it for business...

Pros

Keeper is easy to use and find your passwords, ID's, etc. At my age I don't know if I could keep up without Keeper's assistance.

Cons

Everything is easy and reliable. I have no negative issues with the program.

Keeper Review

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Ease of use for any individual and accessibility are what I look for in all of my software products. The Keeper for business checks all of of those boxes.

Cons

You may consider to give the Keeper software to the Universities, so the younger generation learns its application and you will get a greater understanding of what will be needed for the future.

Great all around product.

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Keeper is amazing for both personal use and business use. I have been using it for years and it is the only password organization tool I recommend.

Cons

It has a hard time on mobile sometimes, where I have to open the program, close it out, and reopen it before it works. Pretty minor concern overall.

You have to have this app!

Reviewed 5 months ago

Fantastic, love the product we couldn’t live without it!

Pros

These guys do a great job. I’ve been using them for probably since they started. It helps with my entire business

Cons

When I input a new record for the login name, it’ll give me options of previous login names. However, when I put in the password, it doesn’t give me the option to just choose from common passwords I use.

Microsoft Teams has killed Skype for business for us

Reviewed 3 years ago

It was useful in the past, but now we don't use it, after switching to Microsoft Teams.

Pros

I liked the instant communication with any member of the team it provided, and being able to detect if someone was online, away or offline for the day.

Cons

However, with the implementation of Microsoft Teams, we never use Skype for business anymore. If I want to chat with someone, call or see if they're online, Teams will offer me a better option.

Keeper provides Privacy and Security

Reviewed 6 years ago

Well Appreciated this product. That's a big deal to any person.

Pros

Keeper has provide privacy and security in all my files and personal data. That's very important for my business and personal life.

Cons

It just cost a few money to work it fully and unlimited. But it's worth to pay when it comes to security and privacy.

Keeper for Business is a great password keeper

Reviewed 4 years ago

Overall my experience with Keeper for business has been a good one, I'm getting more used to it everyday.

Pros

What I like most of the software is it's ease of use. The GUI is very well laid out and intuitive; most other password managers are very basic and Keeper definitely looks the part of a profession software.

Cons

What I like least about Keeper are two things; First, the search function could use some work, it's very clunky and often makes finding what you're searching for a pain. Also the load times when first opening the software are long.

Very Basic Software - does a good job but nothing crazy special

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Keeper is awesome software for keeping your business safe and we've used it successfully. The pricing is pretty decent for the cost of security and it also encrypts your data too which is really fantastic. UI is clean and really good. The two-factor authentication is really annoying but that's always how it is.

Cons

It's nothing super crazy - the security and encryption are important but honestly it feels a bit obsolete/too unnecessary for a small business. It's good to store passwords and the security is definitely there but the software itself isn't anything gamechanging

Good with room for more improvement

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall experience is positive though there's much room for improvement and convenience

Pros

Integration with business was straightforward however login syncing between desktop app and browser plugin would be nice (refer to 1Password...log into either and the other is automatically unlocked for use).

Cons

I find the login often breaks in Firefox (tested on different computers as well). Template setup of sites/users could benefit from a cloning feature.

Keeper. Best Password Manager.

Reviewed 8 years ago

After having my home broken into and dealing with identity theft, I was determined to find the best password manager there was. I wanted an app that synced across all devices. It had to have the highest security standards to protect my login information. It had to be super easy to use. With Keeper, I'm confident that I found it. I now can't imagine going through the day without it. It's a real lifesaver.

Pros

Easy to use. It is simple to save and retrieve passwords and login information. Keeper fills it in for you. It's a real time saver. Creates complex passwords for you if you want. Safe and secure. Syncs across all devices.

Cons

The free version has limited features. I recommend the paid plans. They have individual, family, and business plans available. They are worth every penny.
