Drivewyze automatically generates Heads Up notifications for drivers 2 miles and 1 mile before every weigh station and inspection site. A banner at the top of the app display informs drivers whether or not the site is enrolled in the Drivewyze bypass service, and ‘Heads Up only’ or ‘bypass’ icons are displayed beneath the distance notification based on enrollment status. For enrolled sites, drivers are directed either to bypass the site, with a green light indicator, or to pull into the site, with a red light indicator. If a site is not enrolled, drivers are instructed to follow road signs. For sites using electronic signage, Drivewyze directs the driver to follow instructions displayed on the electronic signs. In situations where drivers are also using a transponder bypass service, Drivewyze still generates Heads Up notifications, and then instructs the driver to observe the indicator lights on their transponder.

Drivewyze allows users to track their fuel, time, and money savings based on bypassing weigh stations, and their return on investment (ROI). All data transmitted by the mobile apps is encrypted, and Drivewyze does not collect driver data or hours of service information, share location tracking data with law enforcement, or support mandatory driver data sharing.
