It has allowed me to refocus my route tracking and better assist my driving partners in case of traffic jams and give them better directions to quickly complete errands and trips.
The application is great for route tracking and especially when it comes to doing a route review it is great. I like more its ease of deployment and it doesn't need a high internet speed to work.
The only drawback is that the application has a latency in some areas less covered by the internet network but I think it's not really the fault of the application but the internet

it was ok may not go back to them because of the contracts and price
integration was easy but the costs are to high
cost alot of money for what its used for and all they want to do is lock you into 3 year contracts and when you loose your bushiness all they care about is the fact you owe them for the rest of the contract

Ok if you want to be controlled.
They control and watch and track everything you do. So be careful with this device. Great customer service and very knowledgeable about their products. I am getting tired of them cause there is no freedom with them. I work local now so I don’t do any over the road with them if I was over the road I will not use them.
Too much controlling. They love your log open so they know where you are at all time. Yes I should log out you say. Nooooo the device should automatically log out if I am at home and 30 miles away from my truck.

Early on they were great, had contacts in the business, would promote them on my Hotshot-USA Resource Network as an affiliate, I found them new business and told my members about them. Earned commissions that they told me were on the way. Got one but never got the rest. When I asked about them they could not tell me anything. As a ELD gateway, they are the premium service and the standard for the trucking business. They have a lot of great features, and fairly easy to use. They may just be too big and global , and need to organize a little better. I like them but I am always looking for another partner to work with, to promote and to eventually use for my trucks. I think they are overpriced and have lost the connection with some of their market.
When you are out on the road and need customer support, they are always a phone card away and very knowledgeable help. Have all the features and more that a Trucking Business needs, and should implement into their business. Keeps records, reports, and other features so that Governmental agencies, DOT, FMCSA, Insurance entities can share your records.
They lock you into service, too expensive, when you need reports or features such as fuel logs, they charge you more and lock you further into the program. When you do pay for an added feature, that you need immediately, such as Fuel Hub, they take their time to install, then they never show you how to have your drivers log in their fuel purchases. We’ve had motive for several years now. The product and support are top notch.
Having the mileage available for reports, being able to track where the truck is at in bad cell phone areas and access to logs to save is invaluable to me.

How much does Motive cost?
How do you use a Split Sleeper Berth on Motive?
Split Sleeper is a toggle on the Driver App that allows drivers to split their required 10-hour off-duty shifts. The toggle is only available once the minimum requirement of at least 2 hours into sleeper berth/off-duty is achieved. You can then turn on multiple clocks to break off-duty time into multiple periods.
