What is ProTracker?
ProTracker registers the dispatch status of parcel shipments from the handover of parcels to the carrier to their final delivery and then the customer. The program evaluates status reports from logistics companies and stores them in a database. When requested, it allows companies to state where a shipment was last registered. Users can also send these track-and-trace logs to customers as receipts. If an addressee reports they have not received a shipment, ProTracker can produce a signed log. It gives companies proof of dispatch without direct contact with the carriers.
The extensive database compares the performance of logistics companies delivering parcels to customers. A dashboard gives users an overview of ongoing transports. It displays how many parcels have already been delivered, and how many shipments are delayed, canceled, or returned. The software offers several carrier modules and covers all major logistics providers, such as DHL, UPS, DPD, and DB Schenker.
ProTracker was developed by SGS, a company that specializes in shipping and logistics software. This software handles data verification, EDI creation, and the printing of parcel labels.
