Pros and cons
What I really love is that it's professional-level publishing software with excellent accompanying tutorials and enormously flexibility.
For one thing, it's a one-time payment, and an inexpensive purchase at that. During the COVID lockdowns they even halved the price which was a classy thing to do and helpful for many people.
Those fancy PDFs I’d like to give as subscriber bonuses to my new and future readers also benefit from Publisher being cheaper than Adobe InDesign and better at formatting than Microsoft Word.
This was a problem when I wanted to show by boss how the project was going.
Export for inDesign-Files, which is the industry standard is sadly still missing. Other than that, i am not missing any Features for my use.
The only inconvenience, is that Affinity software is separated.
