Pros

“I've been using it as a page builder for special pages of our online shop (Shopify) and I couldn't recommend it more - even without any coding or technical knowledge, one is able to create cool layouts with extra features (like embedding Google maps, forms, etc.). After you go from Draft to Publish, you can always tweak the look of your site as many times as needed in a speedy manner.”

Lidia B.

Operations Manager

“Good tool for marketing teams that need to move fast without relying on dev.”

Darren Y.

Sr Manager, Digital Marketing

“Some features that should be standard require higher tier plans.”

Darren Y.

Sr Manager, Digital Marketing

Pros

“If you are looking to build a website for yourself and have minimum 150 hours to read and view tutorials to understand the new Divi 5 system, then you might be happy once this product is actually out of public beta (they announced twice that it was in the 5 weeks I tried it out without them ever stating clearly in the begining it was beta. Dishonest!). ”

Greg K.

Psychologist

“It lets me move fast, keep designs consistent, and adjust layouts without rework. When I do hit an issue, VIP Support has been top notch, which turns problems into quick fixes instead of long delays.”

Timothy C.

Creative Director

“They finally started relasing more instruction for the new Divi 5 system nearly a month into my experience instead of just the old info on thier Divi 4 system. ”

Greg K.

Psychologist

Cons

“Performance can be a concern depending on how heavy your pages get.”

Darren Y.

Sr Manager, Digital Marketing

“Some of the templates injected into the theme make it a little too invasive in the Shopify Theme editor, with some random code pieces and random sections that may need to be hidden/removed.”

Brandon E.

Ecommerce Director

“With the addition of features on shogun the backend feels slow sometimes and you need to clear cache or relogin to refresh shogun tokens.”

Lance M.

Web Developer

Cons

“This despite selling me a public beta system without clearly indicating this, and not providing the needed documentation and tutorials for someone new like me to grasp how to use this incredibly complex system (everything effects most everything in their design). ”

Greg K.

Psychologist

“It comes with a lot of bloat. If you try another front end builder like Elementor, it's obvious that Divi requires a lot more clicks and navigation when making edits on the front end.”

David V.

Lead Developer

“I like Divi a lot, but I have been frustrated for years by ET's focus on fancy new features, while neglecting so many basic features that either need improvement, or don't exist at all. ”
