BasicBMS is modular business management software for companies that have outgrown spreadsheets but do not need an enterprise system. You license only the modules you use, and they run on one shared set of records rather than as separate applications stitched together.

Six core modules cover customers, suppliers, employees, payables, invoices, and a full general ledger. Work Orders, Communication, and Projects are available as add-ons. Scheduling, document management, and geographic mapping are included in every deployment rather than sold as upgrades.

Because every module reads and writes the same records, a customer entered once carries through quotes, work orders, invoices, and the ledger with no re-keying and no export step. Quotes convert to sales orders and then to invoices in a click. Job costing compares actual labor and materials against the original estimate while the job is still open, so a losing job is visible before it closes instead of at year end.

Billing handles one-off invoices and recurring cycles. Schedules are configured once and generate on their own from then on. Customers pay online by card through a secure Stripe portal, and payments post back to the account automatically.

The same foundation is configured for specific industries. Water and sewer utilities get account-based billing, metered or flat-rate rates, service addresses, meter and service-area mapping, and field scheduling for reads, shut-offs, and turn-ons. Property managers get owners, tenants, units, leases, maintenance requests, and automatic rent billing.
