CallsAround gives home-service businesses a 24/7 AI receptionist with real emergency dispatch. The AI answers on the business's own local number, qualifies leads, answers FAQs, captures job details, and books appointments with live Google Calendar availability checks and email confirmations. Emergency calls trigger escalation chains that ring on-call staff sequentially — answering-machine detection means voicemail never counts as answered — with SMS alerts at every escalation hop and warm transfers that brief the technician on caller context before they take the call. Failsafe infrastructure monitors lines continuously and reroutes calls during carrier outages. Every call is recorded, transcribed, and logged with a journaled escalation trail. Configuration covers agent voices, greetings, FAQs, escalation rules, time-of-day routing, and territory rules, with pre-built templates for HVAC, plumbing, and restoration. Overflow mode forwards missed calls to the AI without changing existing numbers. A developer API (api.callsaround.com) supports field-service software integrations.
