Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Cardel overview
What is Cardel?
Cardel is a hosted, multi-tenant platform for creators who want their public presence, audience, and sales on one site they control. Each site has the option to run on its own domain with its own session, database scope, and email identity.
Page Builder creates customized Showcase and Shop pages, and each card gets its own detail route. Editor Mode edits headlines, hero images, button targets, and navigation directly on the live page. Guided Mode walks new site owners through brand, pages, domain, and billing. Themes offer color and font pairings with live preview. A brand kit rasterizes favicon, header marks, icons, and lockups from a single logo upload. Blog posts support scheduling, tags, cover images, comments, and likes. A video catalog embeds YouTube.
Your audience lives in the same place, with contacts organized by groups and tags plus list import and export. Newsletters and automated email workflows run as queued background jobs, off the admin request. Public subscribe is double opt-in, and admin-added contacts require a consent attestation. You can send and receive on your own domain, with DKIM and DNS records generated for you. Transactional email is unlimited on every plan.
Inbound email, contact form submissions, and on-site chat arrive in one inbox with status, channel, and sort filters, an online-status toggle, outbound compose, and AI-suggested replies.
On Pro and Business, Stripe Connect allows direct charges on shop pages with a 0.5% application fee, along with order and fulfillment tracking and manual order entry. Scheduling connects Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook by OAuth so guests only see your open times, with a public booking page.
Teams work through admin invitations, with per-admin permission sets and seat limits by plan.
Integrations cover Stripe for subscriptions and Connect, Google OAuth sign-in, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook Calendar. There is no public REST API today, and API keys are issued by Cardel rather than self-serve.
Sites resolve by Host, never from a client-supplied header, and database queries are scoped per site. Each site holds its own first-party session issued through OIDC rather than a shared cross-domain cookie, so signing into one site does not sign you into another. Admin and Editor rights derive from current-site membership, not a cached token role. Passwords and API keys are hashed at rest. Stripe webhooks are signature-verified. Authentication, contact, subscribe, comment, like, checkout, chat, and bulk-send endpoints are rate limited. Custom domains require DNS ownership verification before they go live. Cardel operators hold read-only standing on your site by default, and elevation requires an attested, time-limited, audited access grant.
Public pages target WCAG 2.2 AA, including minimum target sizes, visible focus, keyboard paths, and screen reader support. Reader pages are cached with short revalidation and per-site invalidation. Images are generated at device-appropriate sizes.
The interface is English (en-US) only. Cardel is cloud-hosted and browser-based, responsive on mobile, with no installation and no self-hosting.
