CASUS delivers AI functionality aligned with continental European legal systems, avoiding adaptation of solutions originally developed for other jurisdictions.
CASUS comprises six core modules corresponding to key legal workflows. The AI Chat module enables conversational interaction with legal documents through natural language queries about contract terms, potential risks and compliance matters. The Benchmark module compares documents against internal standards, highlighting deviations and inconsistencies. The Proofreading module ensures consistency, accuracy and correct legal terminology across contracts and related documents. The Review module identifies problematic clauses and contradictions with established terms to support risk analysis. The Legal Research module grants access to a database of six hundred sixty thousand Swiss federal and cantonal court decisions. The AI Data Room module facilitates due diligence by enabling simultaneous comparison and analysis of hundreds of documents.
The Microsoft Word add-in allows legal professionals to access CASUS functionality within their primary editing environment without interrupting existing workflows. Future integration with SharePoint will extend the platform’s presence within Microsoft three sixty five environments, further embedding CASUS into established work processes.
CASUS operates on Swiss-hosted infrastructure with data residency on Swiss servers to comply with the Swiss revised Data Protection Act and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation. The platform implements a zero data retention policy and operates on ISO twenty seven thousand one certified infrastructure to maintain security and confidentiality in accordance with professional secrecy obligations.
