Virto Charts & Data Visualization App is a free data visualization app for Microsoft Teams. It reads data from a SharePoint list and builds a dashboard of charts in a separate tab of the Teams channel you choose, so a team can review project and task data where it already works instead of reading the list row by row.

Five chart types are available: Status, Members, Completion, Burndown by tasks, and Lead time. Status shows tasks by status; Members groups tasks by assignee, creator, or editor; Completion shows tasks finished on time and overdue; Burndown tracks the work left; Lead time shows how long tasks take. Each chart is set up by choosing a site, a SharePoint list, and the field to display, and filters by date range, field, and field value narrow the view.

Several dashboards can be created for different lists, and one can be marked as the default. Charts download as PNG, JPEG, SVG, or PDF, and Completion and Lead time data export to CSV for a per-task view. Header and series colors and the Teams light and dark themes are configurable.

The app is free to install and use. It is added to Microsoft Teams as a custom app from the package on the VirtoSoftware website; if users cannot upload custom apps, a Teams administrator adds it to the organization's app catalog.
