Craft Docs is a cloud-based, offline-first productivity platform combining document creation, task management, and knowledge organization in a single workspace. Available natively on Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple Vision Pro, Windows, and Web, it syncs content across all devices under a single subscription. The block-based editor supports headers, tables, callouts, checklists, and embedded tasks, while Collections offer Table and Gallery views with filtering, sorting, and grouping for structured data organization. Daily Notes, Tags, Web Clipper, and Email to Craft round out the capture and organization toolkit. Documents can be shared publicly via secret links without requiring recipients to create an account, and real-time collaborative editing with inline comments supports team workflows. API and MCP (Model Context Protocol) support allows Craft content to flow into external tools and AI assistants without vendor lock-in.

Craft Docs targets individuals, families, small to medium teams, and larger organizations across general productivity, knowledge work, product management, education, and writing and publishing. Subscription tiers cover solo users, family groups of two to six, and teams of ten or more, with an Education plan for students and academic users. The built-in AI Assistant, called Craft Assistant, is included on all plans at no additional tier cost and operates across Documents, Tasks, Calendar, Collections, Code Editor, and browse views. It supports writing assistance, proofreading, grammar correction, tone and style rephrasing, summarization, document Q&A in natural language, translation, and image and PDF understanding. The Assistant works in two modes: Execute, which applies changes directly, and Explore, which proposes changes for user approval. Both cloud-based models (Core, Fast, and Max) and fully offline on-device models (LLaMA and DeepSeek R1 variants) are available. On-device models run with no data leaving the device and are always free. User content is never used to train AI models.
