Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Customware overview
What is Customware?
A platform for operators who own a quoting or revenue-critical process and have outgrown spreadsheets or a rigid, off-the-shelf CPQ. Rather than buying a packaged tool and bending the process to fit, someone who knows the business describes its products, pricing logic, approval tiers, and margins, and a team of AI agents builds a working system around them. What the agents produce is production-grade software: a relational database, a web application and server, automated end-to-end testing, and a full deployment pipeline to hosted cloud infrastructure. The organization owns the result outright, including the code, the data, and the logic, with no per-seat licensing and no vendor roadmap controlling when pricing rules can change. Core functions include configure, price, quote (CPQ) and quote generation, quote-to-cash automation, a configuration rules engine that enforces valid product and option combinations, an AI pricing engine for margin thresholds and approval tiers, and guided selling. Configuration can model complex, multi-variable pricing, which makes it a strong fit for manufacturing and distribution. Teams also use the platform to replace manual spreadsheet quoting, consolidate several overlapping software subscriptions into one owned system, or migrate off a discontinued CPQ such as Salesforce CPQ onto a system they control. Because the rules live in owned software rather than a spreadsheet or a locked configuration screen, quoting is consistent and accurate across the team, quotes go out quickly, and the institutional knowledge that used to sit in one person's head becomes software the whole team can rely on. During the build, AI agents act as a software engineer, an architect, and a consultant alongside the operator, so a non-technical person can direct the work without a development team or a consultancy.
