Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Dinezy overview
What is Dinezy?
Dinezy is a cloud-based inventory and operations management platform for food and beverage businesses, including restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and multi-location beverage brands. It combines inventory tracking, recipe costing, checklists, staff communication, and subscription billing in one application, organized by brand and store for single or multi-store operations.
Primary Use Cases
Operators track ingredient stock across locations, calculate recipe cost and margin as supplier prices change, and standardize daily procedures such as opening/closing checklists and food safety checks. Role-based permissions and internal announcements support staff accountability when operators are off site.
Core Features
Inventory items carry units, unit costs, min/max stock levels, and storage locations, with suppliers attached for purchasing. Counts are entered manually or via barcode scan, and historical data is retained. Bulk setup uses an Excel import template with server-side validation.
Recipes are built from existing ingredients; cost per unit and cost breakdown are calculated automatically from current ingredient costs, and margin is calculated against retail price, with filtering by margin range. Recipe and cost visibility, including secret recipes, can be restricted by role.
Checklists cover recurring tasks like opening, closing, and food safety procedures, assigned to staff, completed on-site, and, where required, reviewed and approved by a manager, with timestamps and sign-off recorded.
PulseBoard, an internal communications feature, lets managers publish announcements, tasks with checkbox or numeric progress, RSVPs, and votes, targeted to the brand, specific stores or roles, or selected staff. Posts can be pinned, scheduled, and archived, with a stats view showing response rates by store and outstanding non-responders.
Workflow & Automation
Recipe costs recalculate automatically when a linked ingredient's cost changes. Checklists and PulseBoard posts support scheduled activation/expiry and automatic targeting by store or role. Inventory checks update stock directly, and bulk import validates spreadsheet rows before committing.
Integrations
Dinezy integrates with Stripe for subscription billing via embedded checkout, with synchronized billing history and invoices, and supports Google OAuth alongside email/password login. Data can be exported to and imported from Excel.
Reporting & Analytics
An inventory cost report shows cost trends over selectable ranges (current/prior month, last 30/90 days), exportable to Excel. A recipe cost overview surfaces low-margin recipes against a configurable threshold. Historical records support review of past stock and checks, and PulseBoard stats show response and completion rates by store.
Security & Permissions
Access uses JSON Web Token authentication with role-based permissions. Owner and Superuser are elevated system roles; custom roles carry granular permissions covering inventory, pricing, recipes, cost visibility, reports, checklists, store settings, and user management. Store-level access is scoped so staff see only assigned locations.
Mobile/Web Availability
Dinezy is a responsive web application for desktop or mobile browsers, with no native app install, and can be added to a phone's home screen. Mobile layouts, including bottom navigation and camera barcode scanning, support staff working the floor. Multi-store users can switch locations in the interface.
Ideal Business Types & Industries Served
Dinezy suits single-location operators needing visibility into operating costs, growing teams needing structured roles and accountability, and multi-store or franchise operators needing consistent inventory, costing, and procedures across locations. It serves food and beverage businesses, including restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and beverage concepts such as tea and coffee shops, where inventory turnover, recipe costing, and daily operational compliance are core to the business.
