DPPora helps manufacturers, brands, importers and compliance teams create, publish and maintain Digital Product Passports in 27 languages. Guided workflows organise product identity, materials, evidence and regulatory information in one workspace, with mobile-friendly passports shared through stable QR links.

Automatically import your own catalogue with GS1

Verified GS1 licence owners can automatically import available product identity information and photographs for their own GTINs in bulk, reducing manual data entry across their catalogue.

Customers submit evidence of GS1 licence ownership, or authorisation to act for the licence holder, for review by DPPora. Once approved, each GTIN is checked against an approved licence. Available GS1 identity information and images automatically populate the product and passport.

GS1-sourced fields remain read-only, while customers add materials, supporting evidence and other passport content. Source values retain their original language. Available information varies by GTIN; some records contain licence information only, and photographs depend on source availability.

GS1 verification covers the sourced product identity information, not the entire passport, publisher-supplied claims or regulatory compliance.

Connect existing product data

CSV and Excel imports and direct Shopify and Pimcore Datahub connectors are available on every plan, including Free. Customers map fields, select products and import product details and images. GTIN-bearing imports automatically use the approved-licence GS1 verification workflow.

With Pimcore, customers choose their product fields and import selected product details and images into DPPora storage. These are import workflows; ongoing automatic synchronisation is not currently offered. Import limits and passport allowances apply.

Build structured product records

DPPora supports product identifiers, origin, materials and composition, material source countries, repair and recycling guidance, sustainability information, responsible economic-operator details, regulatory declarations, images and supporting evidence.

Teams review drafts before publication and maintain numbered version history and lifecycle statuses. Product, batch and individual-item passports support different identification levels, subject to product-category restrictions.

Publish through stable QR links

Published passports provide a maintained destination for product information while hosted. Passports with valid GTINs support GS1 Digital Link through DPPora’s hosted resolver. Eligible plans also support company-branded resolver links through a dedicated subdomain.

Integrate through the Customer API

Professional and Enterprise include a read/write Customer API for retrieving and creating products, updating product details and updating supported passport content. API keys are restricted to the organisation’s own records and assigned permissions.

GTIN-bearing API imports use the same approved-licence GS1 verification and locked source fields as other import routes. The Customer API cannot publish passports or submit EU Registry records.

Start with one product and expand

The Free plan includes one published passport without a payment card. Higher plans offer branded links, team access, analytics and larger allowances. Enterprise provides tailored allowances and workflow support. Companion apps for iPhone and Android support viewing and reviewing an existing workspace.

DPPora is an independent service with access to the Verified by GS1 API. It is not operated by GS1, and API access does not imply GS1 endorsement or certification. DPPora does not issue GTINs. Customers remain responsible for the information they supply and the requirements applicable to their products. EU Registry submission is not currently offered.
