EmbayLMS is a learning management system for Canadian organizations that run training in two languages and have to keep the records for it.

Bilingual by construction. English and Canadian French are both first-class across the learner experience, the admin console, notification emails and generated PDF certificates. One course library serves both audiences, so there is no second tenant to keep in sync.

Content. An in-house runtime plays SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, cmi5 against a built-in Learning Record Store, and legacy AICC (HACP), with no third-party player underneath. Native content types include video, audio, PDF, Office documents and HTML5. LTI 1.3 works in both directions. Course versioning preserves completion history when you republish.

Delivery. Self, admin, bulk and group enrollment, with waitlists, seat caps and prerequisites. Linear learning paths with due dates and locked progression. Recurring assignments schedule annual recertification automatically and escalate overdue learners to their manager. Quizzes support question banks, multiple choice, true or false and short answer, passing scores, timed exams, retakes and auto-grading. Instructor-led and virtual sessions run through Zoom and Google Meet, with meetings created on publish and attendance tracked.

Evidence. Completion and overdue dashboards, standard reports for completion, assessment, attendance, manager and team, audit-ready transcripts, an append-only audit log, and CSV or Excel export in one click. A report builder with scheduled email delivery is available on higher plans.

Platform. SAML 2.0, OIDC, Google and Microsoft single sign-on, SCIM provisioning on higher plans, TOTP multi-factor authentication on every plan, seven built-in roles plus custom roles. White-label branding covers logo, colours, custom domain, custom CSS and a per-tenant email sender. A versioned REST API and signed outbound webhooks are available on higher plans. A Stripe Connect storefront sells courses with cart and guest checkout, paid out to your own Stripe account.

Hosting and pricing. Learning data is hosted in Canada on AWS ca-central-1 in Montreal. Pricing is by active user rather than by seat, in Canadian dollars, so a large directory of infrequent learners does not cost the same as a full-time workforce. The Free plan is free forever, and paid plans include a one-month trial with no credit card.
