Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

FlashAlpha overview
What is FlashAlpha?
FlashAlpha is a real time options analytics application programming interface platform that delivers computed Greek exposure data, volatility surfaces and market positioning metrics for quantitative traders, systematic trading teams and algorithmic developers. The platform operates as a fully managed software as a service infrastructure provider that eliminates the need for in-house options analytics computation systems and delivers data through representational state transfer endpoints, official software development kits and a Model Context Protocol server integration for artificial intelligence assistants.
The platform computes multiple categories of options analytics through dedicated endpoints. Gamma exposure endpoints provide per-strike positioning, net gamma exposure calculations, gamma flip levels and environment classification. Delta exposure endpoints deliver aggregate delta positioning by strike price to facilitate directional dealer hedging analysis. Second-order Greek sensitivity is exposed through dedicated endpoints for vanna exposure and charm exposure, measuring delta sensitivity to volatility changes and delta decay. The volatility surface functionality uses Stochastic Volatility Inspired parameterization to generate three-dimensional implied volatility surfaces across strike and expiration dimensions. The platform calculates fifteen Black-Scholes-Merton Greeks including delta, gamma, theta, vega, rho and second-order sensitivities. Additional computed metrics include maximum pain levels, dealer positioning estimates, volatility risk premium with leak-free percentile calculations, skew profiles, term structure analysis and narrative summaries that provide verbal regime analysis. The historical interface mirrors every live endpoint with point-in-time replay capability, allowing queries of all computed metrics at any minute since April sixteenth two thousand eighteen, with minute resolution and identical response schemas to the live interface.
Official software development kits are available in Python, JavaScript, C Sharp, Go and Java to support programmatic access across multiple development environments. The platform exposes a Model Context Protocol server that integrates with artificial intelligence assistants by providing sixteen tools for querying exposure, narrative, volatility metrics, option chains, Greek calculations, implied volatility solving, ticker lists, account information and screening functionality. The architecture separates live data access from historical replay access, with the historical interface requiring a query parameter to specify wall-clock Eastern Time in a standardized format. The platform is supported by an auto-scaling distributed compute infrastructure and a proprietary in-memory analytics engine that processes options structures with nanosecond-precision timestamps. The service includes full US options market data coverage and can integrate custom data sources on request, enabling focus on analytics and decision workflows without the overhead of building and maintaining in-house systems.
