Gantway overview
What is Gantway?
Gantway is a browser-based production planning and control system for job-based manufacturing with 5 to 50 employees, built for joineries, cabinet makers, interior fit-out and metal workshops.
Core modules: a scheduling board with board and Gantt views, task dependencies with automatic rescheduling, and a conflict engine that checks double bookings, capacity overload, missing qualifications, absences and material shortages. Further modules cover quotes with costing and a customer portal, items and stock with purchasing, a time clock, a job timer, leave management, pre- and post-costing and role-based dashboards.
Technical details: runs in any current browser on PC, tablet and phone without installation; shop-floor staff work in a mobile web app. Role-based permissions and an audit log control who sees and changes what. CSV import and export for customers and items. Data is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, and processed in line with the GDPR.
