GroomBoard is a cloud based pet grooming management platform for independent groomers, mobile groomers and small salons of up to five people. It runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone and installs as a progressive web app, so there is nothing to download and no per device licence.

Core functions

Online booking: a public booking page under your own slug shows live availability, services with add-ons and weight-based price tiers, optional deposits and a travel fee for mobile work. Clients book without creating an account. A block list keeps problem clients from booking online.

Scheduling: day, week and month calendar with drag and drop, recurring appointments, blocked time, multi-groomer assignment and a per groomer day total. Google Calendar import brings an existing calendar over; CSV and spreadsheet import bring clients and pets, and an AI photo import reads a paper appointment book.

Client and pet records: breed, weight, age, coat notes, vaccination records with expiry, before and after photos, vet record uploads, pop-up reminder notes and a bite risk flag. Voice dictated notes after each groom are structured by AI into handling notes, blade sizes and products used.

Messaging: automatic text confirmations, day before reminders, ready for pickup and rebooking texts, two way replies in a shared inbox, and GroomTrack, which texts a client when the groomer is on the way. Templates are editable. Every plan carries a monthly text allowance (100, 250 or 600) with extra packs of 100 for $5 a month. STOP and START opt out handling is built in and messaging is sent through a registered A2P 10DLC campaign.

Payments and reporting: deposits and no-show fees through Stripe, cash or card recorded at pickup, discounts, revenue and appointment reports, and an employee time clock with an optional GPS geofence on the Salon plan.

AI: a morning brief of the day ahead, compiled pet profiles, weekly insights and a natural language assistant over your own book on the Salon plan.

Integrations: Stripe (payments and subscription billing), Google Calendar (one way import), Twilio (SMS transport). No public API.

Security: hosted on Vercel with a PostgreSQL database on Supabase. Every table is protected by row level security so a business can only read its own data; staff logins are scoped by role; vet records live in a private storage bucket; OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest; data export is available at any time.
