HandwerkPro overview
What is HandwerkPro?
HandwerkPro is invoicing and bookkeeping software for small trade businesses in Germany, for example electricians, plumbers, painters, carpenters and tilers. It runs in the browser and as an Android app. It is developed and operated by a sole proprietor in Lahr, Germany.
Quotes and invoices
Create quotes and invoices without limits. The customer can sign a quote via a link on their phone, and the quote becomes an invoice with one click. Progress and final invoices, recurring invoices, order confirmations, delivery notes and credit notes are included. Payment reminders and dunning letters come in stages; automatic sending can be switched on. Documents are sent by email or WhatsApp, and customers can pay online via Stripe.
E-invoicing
E-invoices in XRechnung or ZUGFeRD format, checked with the official validation tools. E-invoicing works in the browser version, not in the Android app. Incoming e-invoices are not imported.
Time tracking and projects
Record working hours on site in the Android app, also without a network connection; the data syncs when you are back online. Hours are assigned to projects and customers and can be transferred to the invoice. Work reports with photos and customer signature, project acceptance and defect management.
Bookkeeping and tax advisor
Record expenses and capture receipts with the camera, see your income statement (EÜR) and business evaluation (BWA), and create the VAT return as an XML file for import into ELSTER (no direct submission). Invite your tax advisor: they get their own login and can download the DATEV booking batch (CSV, SKR03) with one click. Bank connection is included.
How HandwerkPro follows GoBD principles
Invoices are locked after sending, corrections are only possible via a cancellation credit note, numbering is gapless, changes are recorded in a change log, and the archive keeps everything for 10 years. There is no certificate; your own process documentation remains your responsibility.
Data
Data is stored on the provider's own server in Germany. Cloudflare runs in front of it, error reports go to Sentry, and the optional AI features use providers in the USA. Details are in the privacy policy. All data can be exported at any time.
Plans
PRO: EUR 9.99 per month for 1 user. BUSINESS: EUR 19.99 per month, adds the AI assistant (34 functions, can be switched off), unlimited employees and teams, mileage log, maintenance contracts, balance sheet and depreciation. Prices are final prices; no VAT is added (German small business rule). Monthly billing, cancel any time. 30-day free trial with all features, no payment details needed; the trial ends automatically.
The user interface is available in German and English. There is no iPhone app; on an iPhone, HandwerkPro works in the browser.
