Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

IndexProbe overview
What is IndexProbe?
IndexProbe is a bulk URL inspection and indexation monitoring platform that leverages the official Google Search Console API to audit site indexing status at scale. The system delivers authoritative data on index status, official exclusion reasons, last crawl dates and canonical URL decisions for large URL collections. It addresses the needs of SEO managers, technical teams and digital marketing professionals who require direct insight into Google’s perspective rather than estimations from third-party crawlers or scrapers.
The platform processes high-volume URL lists by managing the Google API limit through automated scheduling of two thousand inspections per day per project. For each URL, IndexProbe reports precise indexation states with official exclusion categories such as submitted and indexed, alternate page with proper canonical tag, page with redirect, discovered but currently not indexed, crawled but currently not indexed, excluded by noindex tag, not found status and duplicate without user-selected canonical. Crawl analysis captures Googlebot’s last visit date, returned HTTP status codes and the share of pages crawled within thirty-day intervals, segmented by site section or URL pattern. Scheduled monitoring renews analyses on a weekly cadence and upon each cycle’s completion, with retention policies that vary by subscription level. Pattern-based segmentation and regression detection highlight newly unindexed pages or changes in exclusion reasons between cycles. Data export supports CSV and Google Sheets formats for further analysis or reporting.
The interface presents data through multiple visualization views including indexation, crawl, URL listing and comparison, with sub-views for overview, noindex, robots.txt and canonical analysis. Users can explore detailed charts and tables that reveal indexation trends, crawl performance and canonical decision breakdowns. All historical analyses remain accessible for side-by-side comparison and trend assessment.
IndexProbe integrates exclusively with Google Search Console via OAuth authentication, requiring a two-click authorization process. URL lists can be imported through CSV upload, sitemap.xml parsing or manual entry. No additional infrastructure or server log access is needed beyond the initial connection and URL import. Compliance with Google’s Terms of Service is maintained by using official API endpoints rather than search result scraping methods. The system supports multiple Search Console accounts and projects to accommodate diverse site portfolios.
