Most invoicing tools give you a limited free version and ask for a monthly subscription once you outgrow it. InvoiceBloom does not have that second step. The software is free, all of it, and it stays free: unlimited invoices, unlimited email sending, every template, PDF downloads, recurring invoices, client records and payment tracking, with no credit card required to create an account.

The product is deliberately narrow. It does invoicing and it does the parts of invoicing that decide whether you get paid: a clear document your client can act on, a specific due date, a status you can check at a glance, and a record of who has paid and who has not. It is not an accounting suite, it does not do payroll, and it will not ask you to migrate your books.

Creating an invoice takes a couple of minutes. Enter your business details once and they are remembered. Add a client, add line items with quantities and rates, and the subtotal, tax and total calculate as you type. Pick one of seven templates, then download the finished invoice as a PDF or send it to the client by email without leaving the page. Clients you bill regularly are saved, so the second invoice takes seconds, and anything you bill on a fixed monthly schedule can be set up once as a recurring invoice.

Payment is up to you. Many users send the invoice and take payment by bank transfer or check, which costs nothing. If you would rather your clients pay by card, connect your own Stripe account and every invoice can carry a payment link; Stripe charges its standard processing fee and InvoiceBloom adds a 0.5 percent platform fee, about fifty cents on a one hundred dollar invoice.

The app runs in the browser on any operating system, needs no installation, and is available in English and Spanish. It is funded by advertising on the public blog and free tools, which is why the software itself does not need to charge you.
