Knowally automates the preparation of security questionnaires for business to business SaaS providers that routinely encounter vendor security assessments as part of enterprise sales cycles. The platform addresses the manual and time consuming task of completing standard surveys such as Standardized Information Gathering, Consensus Assessments Initiative Questionnaire, Vendor Security Assessment and custom security reviews. Knowally is designed for sales engineers, solutions engineers, heads of sales, revenue operations teams and founders at early stage and mid stage enterprises who require an efficient process for responding to security inquiries without compromising accuracy or traceability.

The platform operates through a three step workflow beginning with construction of a private answer library from uploaded security policies, completed questionnaires, SOC Two reports and compliance documentation. When a new questionnaire in Excel, CSV, Word or PDF format is provided, Knowally performs a semantic search across the document library to retrieve the most relevant passage for each question and auto-drafts responses. Each drafted response is displayed alongside the highlighted source text to enable human review and confirmation before exporting the completed questionnaire in the format originally received.

Customer documents are stored on infrastructure located within the European Union and each account is logically isolated to ensure data privacy. Relevant passages are transmitted to a third party AI provider under commercial terms that prohibit training on customer data. Document embeddings are generated under a Data Processing Agreement that includes training opt-out provisions. A comprehensive Data Processing Agreement compliant with GDPR requirements is incorporated into the platform’s Terms of Service and full sub-processor disclosures are maintained for customer review.

The system relies exclusively on customer-uploaded documentation and does not generate responses from general artificial intelligence knowledge or external sources. This document-grounded approach prevents the invention of capabilities not present within the organization.
