Lumino is a personal finance platform that gives individuals and households a single, continuously updated view of their financial accounts. It connects to checking, savings, credit card, investment, and loan accounts through Plaid, using OAuth-based, read-only connections so login credentials are never stored on Lumino's servers. Once accounts are linked, transactions are pulled automatically, categorized with AI-based classification, and refreshed throughout the day as institutions publish updates, removing the need for manual entry or spreadsheets. Core functionality includes a net worth dashboard that charts assets and liabilities over time, including manually added assets such as property; a spending view that groups transactions by category and merchant; recurring-expense and subscription detection that surfaces repeat charges across every connected account; budgets with configurable threshold alerts; and savings goals. A projections module estimates net worth up to 12 months forward based on current trends, and an optional AI assistant can answer plain-language questions about the user's own account data. A shared-expense tool lets users split a specific charge with other people using the exact merchant, amount, and date already pulled from the connected account, with per-person balances tracked until settled.
