What is MakeitPDF?

MakeitPDF is an online PDF editor and converter that puts 40+ tools in one place, right in your browser. Drop in a file, pick a tool and download the result. There is no software, plugin or setup to manage.

Organize: merge, split, split in half, reorder, extract and remove pages, delete blank pages, create booklets and multi-page-per-sheet layouts.

Optimize: compress large files, repair damaged PDFs, flatten forms and annotations, convert to grayscale, and make scanned documents searchable with OCR.

Convert to PDF: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images and web pages (from a URL or HTML code).

Convert from PDF: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG, plain text, EPUB and PDF/A, plus extract images from a PDF.

Edit: add text, highlights, shapes, drawings and links, rotate, crop, watermark, add page numbers, and compare two versions of a document side by side.

Sign and protect: fill forms, sign documents, add or remove password protection, and permanently redact sensitive content.

AI tools: summarize a PDF and ask questions about it, or translate a document while keeping its layout.

Plans differ by how much fits into one task, not by which tools you can use. Free supports files up to 15 MB and 25 files per operation. Pro supports files up to 500 MB and 300 files per operation. Business supports files up to 2 GB, 500 files per operation and 3 team seats. A one-time pack of 20 credits is available for occasional jobs without a subscription.

MakeitPDF works on Windows, Mac, Linux and mobile browsers and is available in 14 languages. A Developer API is included with Pro and Business.
