My experience using Acrobat Reader DC

Pros
Due to the degree of confidentiality of the information I handle at the institutional level, I require a versatile tool, Acrobat Reader DC, this very clean, simple, minimized version, gives me everything I need to access PDF documents in a quick and easy way. well organized, the technical staff of Adobe has reimbentado the tool, making some major changes to the organization of how to access the documents, has on your left when you open the tool a quick access to the most recent documents, showing if this Locally or in the cloud, we can also access documents locally or in the cloud for those more active documents. Acrobat Reader DC has an endless number of tools, which have been organized in large icons of colors on the right side, we simply click on it and we can access the different options of this tool classification. A security niel is very robust. I would recommend 100%

Cons
This great tool has few disadvantages, despite having well-organized tools, the user with little experience can be a little difficult to know that when opening a document is activated the option of tools at the top, and the click there you will see the large amount of available tools, which are very useful to edit a document or to add some text, as well as protect it. It also has a mini floating toolbar in the lower part, which can disappear if we want it to be anchored in the upper part, it can be uncomfortable for some users to use this floating bar, as well as to deactivate the bar, but it depends on each user and his experience.

In overall, this program gets the job done with small effort. You have flexibility to edit pdf files (this is a must for pdf readers). You can save to your hard drive or into cloud. IOS and Android support is a great plus. The interface is quite simple (I would prefer more customized tab orientation; but this is also fine) Rarely it slows down or clashes (mainly on IOS platform; but also Windows) and sync issues might be happening. But I thing these do not shadowing the overall performance. Adobe Reader DC is one of the must-to-have software in your computer or mobile device.

Pros
I like a couple of key features with Adobe Reader DC. Well, firstly fill & sign feature is a great and interesting addition. When you click, you are asked to open a file (with mobile version even you can take a photo of the form and start after creating pdf file) and then you can add any note, name, date and your own signature. Signature can be drawn, or selected from the available template. This is more useful as it doesn't require a subscription. Other tools such as edit pdf, create pdf, export pdf or combine pdf are also great and what you really need to manage pdf files. You can even add digital signature or stamp (not sure if will be required) to the documents. Apart from the features, I like the interface of Acrobat Reader DC. It is really sleek and elegant; which at the end makes your eyes comfortable even after some hours spent. Document Cloud feature comes with paid subscriptions and provides 20GB storage. Seems reasonable; but not sure if enough for big organizations. Program has mobile versions as well; however either IOS a-or Android, these are the scaled versions of desktop app - which is understandable.

Cons
There are really not much to list; but one thing is really frustrating. You cannot add a tab or tool bar on the menu. In order to use the tools such as edit pdf or fill & sign, you have to open a separate function tab and than it asks you to open a file or let you make additional edits. If you want to do several operations, this really makes you tempered time to time. However colorful tool page somehow causes myself to calm down. As called acrobat reader, this is unique to .pdf formats and so other file types are limited. Rarely it cashes or slows down - may be sourced by your device or connection as well. On mobile version it slows down a lot if you open or edit big files.

The Gold Standard

It's hard to imagine not having Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I use this software daily for reading pdf documents. I have used both the free version and the paid Pro version. The Pro is well worth paying for. It is so full featured, allowing the user to create and edit pdfs, as well as to get signatures on documents. You can convert images and other types of documents to pdf files. With the Pro version, you can find text within a document, and most importantly for me - you can export data from a pdf to Microsoft Office documents. I rely heavily on Adobe Reader to provide me with the tools I need to extract data from the pdf files that I receive from colleagues and customers. It's a powerful tool and one I am grateful to have at my fingertips. It's very straightforward to use, and the feature set is extremely robust. I would recommend it to anyone who sends or receives pdf files during the course of their day.

Pros
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the best pdf editing/creation tool on the market today. I use it daily in my job, where I receive pdfs with information I need to extract from both customers and colleagues. I use the Pro version of this software to extract the data into Office documents where I can work with the information. If I didn't have Adobe Reader I would be in the position of having to key information from the files I receive into spreadsheets - that wouldn't be very efficient! Instead, Adobe makes my job easier and is the tool I need to extract the data and get working with the information.

Cons
I don't have any cons to report. The feature set is quite robust, so it might take some time for a new user to get their arms around all the different things this software can do. But you don't need to be able to do everything with it at the outset. The basic things you need to do are easy to figure out. You can get more advanced at editing documents as you get into it, if you need that functionality.

Highest Quality PDF Software, But Pricey!

I have been using Acrobat for years now. There are many uses for the software and it's hands down the best on the market. I've tried other PDF software, but they no where near compare to Acrobat in terms of functionality nor quality. I use it for everything from printing thermal shipping labels, editing PDFs, scanning documents and converting to OCR, and signing documents. The possibilities really are endless.

Pros
My absolute most favorite thing about Adobe Acrobat is the OCR scan function. I use my desktop scanner to scan in documents and the OCR function is able to accurately convert the document into readable, searchable, and editable text. I scan probably 2,000 pages of documents every month, so this definitely comes in handy when I want to go back later and find a particular document by searching for a couple keywords or particular content. Another one of my favorite things is the ability to edit any PDF. I can remove text/images, combine documents, sign pages, etc.

Cons
I have the professional version of Acrobat, so it does get a bit pricey. Adobe now gives you access to the software by charging a flat monthly or annual rate for a 1-year license. Previously, you could just buy the software outright. The only benefit to paying for an annual license is that you never have to worry about the software being outdated or bug-ridden. With Acrobat being the best PDF software on the market, I sort of see the cost-factor as something that's practically inevitable.

Handling PDF formatted documents with greater versatility as a word processor

This tool has been successful in my professional life, since most of the interaction with documents for the generation and presentation of reports uses an Adobe Acrobat DC as main means, the inclusion of these new features allows to facilitate the review and highlight the most important ideas. important or the most common mistakes in a job, as well as the ability to customize a job in such a way as to prevent the plagiarism of the document.

Pros
The most interesting of this version are the new properties that range from its innovative presentation and appearance, to the possibility of creating notes and underlining ideas that highlight comments we make to the text we are reading, the Acrobat Reader DC program also allows you to incorporate our electronic signature documents or your initials and send the form electronically tool that persnalizes and improves the development and intellectual property also uses intelligent auto-filling that allows to simplify and increase the speed of the work that is done. Finally it is highlighted that by working with this program you can facilitate the storage of documents on the Adobe Document Cloud, Box, Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive platforms, thus increasing the possibility of safeguarding and sharing our work, it should be noted that this version passes Directly from PDF to Word files directly something that is very positive.

Cons
The installation of the program usually takes too long and the file in my opinion could be less heavy, also to work optimally must be the PC or mobile phone connected to the Internet and the latest version of the program must be updated , on the other hand, the options assistant can be optimized to provide the user with greater resources when producing or editing a document from the PC, other difficulties of the program can be found in the MENU when we go to our PRFERENCES, there to be able to optimize the program and improve the work experience requires a certain level of office management, being to my trial a complicated situation to handle between the user with little experience in handling PDF and the facilities presented by the Acrobat Reader file DC in this new presentation.

Premier program for PDFs

For my team, this is now a necessary program. Purchasing single software licenses for this product has been worth it for multiple members of my team who previously used the free reader. I can't see us not using this product for years to come due to all the capabilities it has.

Pros
This software enables me to do more with PDFs. It is a time saver to be able to combine documents, add new pages, edit page content, remove pages, etc. One of my favorite things is the 'compare documents' feature, which allows the user to compare two documents and it highlights each and every change (whether it is formatting, or if content is moved/added/removed). The preflight panel is also key, which allows the user to make sure the document is set for printing and sending, along with decreasing file size. The premier feature is the comment option, where multiple users can add sticky notes - great for editing requests or having a conversion with another about the document. Creating a form is also highly useful.

Cons
Sometimes there are issues editing the document due to corrupted fonts, which can be solved through the preflight panel, but can be troublesome when more than one person is working on a document at a time. I also do not like that they removed the standard 'signature' form feature (you must use Adobe Sign now).

Powerful PDF Software that works best with other Adobe Products to get the most from it

Most people use Windows 10, which will default to using Edge browser for opening PDF's which isn't always the best. Others use Chrome. But when you use Reader DC you get the most stable product, it provides the additional features such as e-sign and documentation completion. It's easy to use, and works very well.

Pros
It's simple, reliable (in terms of its always stable, pretty much never crashes) and is easy to use. It works well when upgraded to include the E-Sign etc along with the good integration with things like the the Google GSuite platform.

Cons
The software doesn't prompt you to use it as your default PDF software when installing it, so Windows 10 machines will continue to use Edge or Chrome which can be irritating. Whilst you can change this yourself, it's the irritating when sending a PDF for someone to fill out and they open it in Chrome and wonder why they can't save it. Therefore can before frustrating as you end up provider users additional support.

We've solved multiple issues with Acrobat DC that were not solvable with other PDF management software. The efficiency with which DC performs basic and advanced PDF manipulation is unmatched. We've realized numerous benefits across features such as OCR, page extraction, document combining, and much more.

Pros
I like the ability to edit PDF documents. This proves to be an indispensable feature when preflighting print projects, fixing typos in Print ready files received from customers, etc. I also like the highly efficient PDF file size that Acrobat DC provides. It's pure wizardry.

Cons
I don't like the way the document cropping and resizing works. I feel that this feature could be simplified and drastically improved.

We install this viewer on all of the computers we set up. I have had almost no issues with it and it is easy for the end user to use. I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros
The software is very simple and easy to use. The UI has a very clean minimal look to it. It's also very quick to install.

Cons
I have an issue with this software on 2 different computers before where it tried to update, then it failed, so the user uninstalled and tried to reinstall and it kept saying that there was already a newer version installed, when there wasn't. This was very aggravating and no matter what I did, I could not get around the issue, so I had to use an alternate PDF viewer for the 2 computers. Adobe needs to find a fix for this issue, but other than that I have never had issues with this software.

I have been using Adobe forever. It really is the best. Document leader!

Pros
What is there not to like?? Adobe is a must have. it is the Portable Document Format application. It is also the best. Reader is great for reading and reviewing documents but Adobe Pro is the best pdf application of all time. The features allow you to do things with documents you can only imagine. I use this all time - at work in and in my personal life. INDISPENSABLE.

Cons
The free version has no functionality but its worth paying for pro.
