Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Maple eSign overview
What is Maple eSign?
Maple eSign is a Canadian-owned, cloud-based electronic signature service that allows businesses to send, sign, and manage agreements digitally. Signing pages, consent wording, and recipient emails are available in both English and French, supporting compliance with Quebec's Charter of the French Language (Bill 96). The platform is hosted entirely in Google Cloud's Montreal region, covering the application, database, document storage, and database backups, with transactional emails delivered via Postmark. All features are included at no cost.
Maple eSign is designed for Canadian businesses of any size that collect signatures on contracts, with particular relevance for organizations operating in Quebec or subject to Bill 96. Target industries include legal, insurance, real estate, telecommunications, fitness and wellness, and any sector requiring consumer contracts in Quebec. The platform supports reusable document templates with English and French versions, conditional fields that surface only applicable content, and checkbox or text fields that record a signer's express language choice.
Completed agreements are delivered as tamper-evident sealed PDFs accompanied by a Certificate of Completion. Each file receives a SHA-256 hash as a digital fingerprint, and all signing events are recorded in an append-only, hash-chained audit trail. Together, these mechanisms produce strong legal evidence for completed agreements and position Maple eSign as a compliance-focused solution for businesses navigating Canada's bilingual regulatory environment.
