What is Monty.fast?
Monty.fast is a web-based AI video editor for creators and small teams producing short-form video from footage they recorded or from a script. Users can upload MP4 or MOV footage, or start with a script and the browser teleprompter. Monty prepares an editable preview with cuts, speech-synced captions, music, b-roll, and branding. The user reviews the preview, approves the render, and downloads the finished video. Publishing connections are available only for enabled accounts during the closed beta. Monty.fast supports workflows for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. It is not an AI actor, avatar, or text-to-video scene generator.
