Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Proximun overview
What is Proximun?
Proximun watches zones, not people's every step. A tag is carried by a visitor, a contractor, a member of staff, a forklift or a piece of equipment; readers placed around the site work out which zone that tag is in; a rule engine decides whether that is allowed.
What it answers
Who is in the building right now, and in which zone. How long they have been there. Whether the zone is one they are cleared for.
Alerts instead of reports nobody reads
An unauthorised floor or area raises an alert as it happens — no card to present, no gate to pass. A visitor who takes the lift to a restricted floor is seen; a turnstile would not see it.
Rules cover the zone, the time window, the permitted duration and the authorisation of the tag holder.
Every subject, one platform
Visitors, staff, contractors and their escort rules, students, patients, residents. Forklifts and site machinery in enclosed areas. Fixed assets — generators, cylinders, tools, samples — with a "left the zone" rule. Containers, pallets and shipments in warehouses and ports.
Built for sites that are not simple
Factories, office towers, hospitals, construction sites, ports, shopping centres and data centres. Multiple tenants, multiple sites, one platform, cloud first.
What it is not
Not a door lock and not a turnstile. Proximun does not open or close anything; it sees where a tag is and tells you when a rule is broken.
