REV23 Desktop is an on-premises Windows application built specifically for tattoo and body piercing studio operations. The main Windows PC stores the studio database, while other Windows PCs at the location can connect over the local network. This design keeps core business records on-site and lets the front desk continue working when internet service is unreliable.

The application covers multi-artist appointment scheduling, client profiles, medical history, reference photos, release forms, deposits and credits, waiting lists, services in progress, point of sale, card payments, gift cards, taxes, tips, discounts, refunds, commissions, payroll, time clock, staff permissions, inventory, purchase orders, vendors, barcode scanning, and studio reporting.

REV23 Desktop runs on 64-bit Windows 11 with an Intel or AMD processor. It supports the Wacom STU-540 for signature capture, TWAIN-compatible scanners for photo identification, and the optional Honeywell Xenon XP 1950 for reading AAMVA driver-license barcodes. It does not run on macOS, phones, tablets, Windows on ARM, or Snapdragon-based Windows devices.

Access can be limited through staff permissions, and studio data remains on the main PC rather than being hosted as a cloud service. The studio is responsible for securing and maintaining that PC, the local network, Windows updates, and current off-site backups.
