SeatCanvas is a web-based seating chart and floor plan tool for event organizers, planners, and individuals organizing their own events, including weddings, quinceañeras, banquets, and corporate functions.

CORE FUNCTIONALITY

The planner is built around an infinite drag-and-drop canvas. Users place and resize round or rectangular tables, assign guests to individual seats, and sketch venue features such as walls, dance floors, and stages directly on the layout. Built-in collision detection prevents overlapping tables so layouts stay physically realistic.

GUEST DATA IMPORT

Guest lists import directly from CSV files with automatic column mapping, so organizers can move from a spreadsheet to a visual layout in minutes. Guest data can also be entered and edited in an in-app spreadsheet view.

EXPORT

Finished layouts export as high-resolution, print-ready PDF or PNG files, suitable for sharing with venues, caterers, and staff as a single source of truth.

PLATFORM & SECURITY

SeatCanvas runs entirely in the browser with no installation. Authentication is handled via Google or Microsoft single sign-on, and payments are processed by Stripe. The interface is fully available in English and Spanish.

PRICING

The free tier includes full feature access for up to 40 seated guests, with no account required to start. A one-time $9.99 Event Pass unlocks unlimited seating for an event. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
