- Availability management: staff share when they can and cannot work, so schedules match real availability.

- Working time hints: Shiftdesk highlights potential conflicts around breaks, rest periods and maximum working hours while planning. These are supportive hints; final planning decisions remain with the employer.

Shiftdesk is a web-based SaaS solution accessible from any modern browser, with native mobile apps for iOS and Android and a tablet kiosk mode for on-site clock-in. There is nothing to install on-premise.
