Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

SignForge overview
What is SignForge?
Every e-signature platform will get a document signed. The difference shows up afterwards — in whether you can still prove that signature is genuine years later, and who you have to depend on to do it.
What makes Signforge different
Conventional e-signature tools keep verification on their own servers. To prove a document is authentic you send it back to the vendor's portal and they vouch for it. Your evidence lives on someone else's infrastructure, tied to an account you have to keep paying for.
SignForge embeds the proof inside the document. Every signed PDF carries a W3C Verifiable Credential, an ECDSA P-256 signature, and a SHA-256 hash of the file, anchored in a public Merkle transparency log. Verification runs offline against open standards — no SignForge account, no proprietary reader, no vendor in the loop. The document is self-contained evidence.
AI - Native, not AI-Retrofitted
Amanda AI drafts agreements from a plain-language description and summarises documents you receive. An MCP server exposes SignForge to AI agents directly, so an assistant can create an envelope, send it for signature, check status, and retrieve the signed file. For teams building AI workflows that is a first-class integration rather than a chatbot attached to a form.
Fits your stack
Enterprise plans include a REST API with webhooks covering the full envelope lifecycle, an embeddable signing widget you can drop into your own application as an iframe or modal, and SSO/SAML. A public verification API lets anyone confirm authenticity programmatically. Sandbox test keys are quota-exempt and produce watermarked output, so you can build and test without consuming anything.
Built for volume
Reusable templates, bulk send for issuing many documents at once, and bulk signing for executing high volumes of identical templates in a single session. Team workspaces, custom domains, CC recipients, pre-filled fields, scheduled sending, and automated reminders. Delivery by email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Pricing is flat-rate per account rather than per seat, so headcount does not drive cost.
Signing Experience
Signers need no account. They open a secure link on any device and sign by typing, drawing, or uploading an image. Every action is recorded in an append-only audit trail with timestamps, IP addresses, user agents, and explicit consent, and each completed document ships with a signing certificate.
Compliance
Legally binding under the ESIGN Act in the United States, eIDAS in the European Union (simple and advanced electronic signatures), and UETA, with GDPR compliance and dedicated guidance for the UK, Canada, Australia, India, Japan, and Brazil. SignForge does not issue AATL certificates or eIDAS Qualified Electronic Signatures, which a small number of highly regulated workflows require.
Free Plan
A permanently free tier includes 10 e-signs per month, the full audit trail and signing certificate, embedded verification proof, AI document generation, and all 12 browser-based PDF tools. No credit card, and no trial that expires.
