Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

smartruns overview
What is smartruns?
SmartRuns is an AI powered test management software platform designed for quality assurance teams working in agile development environments. It centralizes test case management, execution tracking, and defect reporting into a unified system while leveraging artificial intelligence to automatically generate test cases from Jira tickets. The platform serves QA teams ranging from individual contributors to large enterprise organizations that face challenges with scattered testing documentation across multiple tools. It positions itself as a modern alternative to legacy test management solutions such as TestRail and Zephyr.
The platform offers a comprehensive test repository that centralizes all test cases with full version history and organizes them by product area, labels, and categories with search and filter capabilities at scale. Smart test plans enable grouping of tests into executable plans, assignment of testers, definition of testing environments, and use of templates for recurring test cycles. Real time test execution marks pass and fail statuses with attached screenshots and links evidence back to plans and defect tracking. AI driven test generation supports connection to Jira tickets or plain English feature descriptions to automatically generate complete test cases with preconditions, steps, and expected results within seconds while handling up to ten Jira tickets simultaneously. One click defect logging pre fills defect summaries, actual and expected results from failed tests with automatic linking to specific runs, test cases, and testers. Role based access control operates at workspace and project levels with viewer, tester, lead, and admin permissions and customizable configurations on team plans and extended sign in method control on enterprise plans. Reports and analytics track pass rates, test coverage, and velocity metrics across sprints with export to CSV and JSON and maintain a full audit trail with real time notifications.
Native integrations include bi directional synchronization with Jira for automatic ticket imports, AI driven test generation, and status updates back to Jira as well as the ability to create defects from failed tests directly within the platform. GitHub integration links pull requests to test runs and triggers test plans on push events or pull request merges to provide test status visibility within development workflows. Outbound webhooks deliver events to external services when tests pass, fail, or runs complete to facilitate custom workflow automation. Slack notifications provide instant updates on test results, failures, and run summaries in team channels. Notion synchronization enables test plans and results to be mirrored within Notion pages.
The platform operates on AWS infrastructure with SOC two aligned security practices and encrypts all data in transit with TLS and at rest. Enterprise deployments may include dedicated clusters in preferred infrastructure, parallel multi provider and multi model AI agent configurations, customizable AI credit quotas, configurable sign in methods including SAML single sign on, custom data connector quotas, and continuous audit log retention. Support offerings include around the clock assistance with defined response time service level agreements and uptime commitments. The system requires minimal setup time and can be operational in under five minutes without the need for consultants or lengthy onboarding processes.
